How does google ranking help Criagslist ads?

Hey guys, one service provider told me that since he started ranking on Google, his craigslist calls greatly increased. Can anyone tell me how google ranking is directly related to CL ads please?

    Do proper SEO for your Craigslist post. Use good title, content, keywords. give name of the images you are uploading and when your craigslist add come on 1st page in google, then you will get the results.

        To get the cl ads on the first page of google, you need to post your add as best as you can by adding your focus keywords in your description and title. when you post a quality content advertisement, google will crawl it and display it on first page itself, there is nothing you can do.

        Yes, you can do little add on technique to boost your add to get better ranking by doing sone off-page SEO activities like blog posts, blog comment, article post by mentioning the url of your add in your content.

    The better option nowadays is to rank your Youtube video in Google. Drive traffic from the video to your blog post/ page and then to your CL ad.

    You can rank much easier and you'll retain more control over the process that sends organic search traffic to your ads. In other words, you can chop and change which ads you promote.

        1. You put up your CL ad.
        2. Optimize it for Google.
        3. You put up your Youtube video.
        4. Optimize your video for the same keyword as the CL ad.
        5. Optimize video for Youtube and Google search.
        6. Direct traffic from your video to your blog post/ page.
        7. Use the blog post/ page to direct traffic to CL ad.

        - You'll rank easier.
        - You'll rank quicker.
        - You'll have more control over traffic.
        - You can change ads on your blog/ page.
        - Change ads without losing your Google & YT rankings.

        It depends on what you're doing, matey, but you should also look into audience collection. (Newsletter.) Especially if you're selling something, you want to collect those buyers (and potential buyers).

    They are lying to you or have no idea what they are talking about.

    First, your website ranking has nothing to do with Craigslist ads. Nothing at all.

    Second, if they are talking about ranking Craigslist ads, that would be a stupid waste of time. In major cities, they expire in 7 days. In smaller towns, it is 30 or 45 days.

      Perfect answer and that presumes your Craigslist live ad is not somehow manually flagged in that 7-day or 30-day window which would make that temporary ranking even more pointless.

    While your doing SEO to your web site / blog in cragialist you have to follow the proper rules :
    1. Create account and fill all the details
    2. FOllow the users relating to your website
    3. Give proper title with tagetted keyword
    4. Write unique description
    5. Give web site details
    6. Share your ad in Social media and you have to get visitors to your ad.
