Need help identifying niche pain points

I'm looking for tips on how to identify common pain points in a niche. So far I've been on forums and tried looking around, but I was wondering if anyone else had some good tips and advice on how to do this. Thanks!

Maybe add a form to your Website/Page asking what your visitors need help with most.

Alternately look at all the "professional" Sales Letters (ClickBank.com could be a good start) and what they are focussing on.

Sometime I use google search bar, you type "how to solve", "problem with" then quite a few choices come out, those are what people searching for. Hope you got the idea.

It is just basic niche research. As you research your niche and learn about it you will be learning what people want, need, or desire

You need to know the actual problem faced by people in particular niche, to know the problems need to ask people by directly contacting them or through surveys, polls etc.

    1) You can search on Google with the specific niche.
    2) You can ask the same question on relevant forum.
    3) You can ask the question in Quora mentioning your niche to get better answers.

This is what you call market research. It's one of THE most important steps to launch a successful blog.

If you do it right you will never run out of ideas.

    Step 1
    • Create a spreadsheet

    Step 2
    • Record problems on that spreadsheet

Here are some good ways to find problems:
    • Popular blogs
    • FB groups
    • Forums
    • Amazon book reviews
    • Quora
    • Ask your email list if you have one

I'm currently working on a blog post for this. Send me a message if you want to know when it's live.

Also I have an entire video lesson about how to do this in my online course. I've never done this before, but send me an email, and I'll give you access to the video for free.

    Hope that helps!

  • Forums, google, quora, Facebook, and all of these are great to start with.

The real learning comes from actually talking to a person.

Talking in person is best but probably not easy.

However, Skype, hangouts, or a phone call work just as well.

If you actually talk to a person you will learn much faster and much more. It worth it.

Try it and post your findings.

    Step 1 - create a spreadsheet

Step 2 - fill in that spreadsheet with pain points and problems that you find

Step 3 - tally each problem every time you find it to discover the most common problems

Good places to find these problems include:
    • Popular blogs
    • FB groups
    • Forums
    • Quora
    • Amazon book reviews
    • And your email list if you have one

I made a video for my mastermind group that breaks everything down step-by-step. If you want, send my a message, and I'll give you the link.

    Hope that helps!

Looking at sales letters in your niche is a good place to start. What pain points are they targeting? Popular books, bestselling books and magazines are also good places to look. Asking your list is also a way to get feedback from people you are already doing business with. The person who suggested making a spreadsheet is a genius. You can spend hours trying to figure this out, and you'll want to capture all your market research in a way you can easily refer to when you need it.
