Enumerate your competition/favorite gurus operation
I wrote this post in the War Room but thought it would be a cool thing to share with everyone. I would also like to point out that I AM NOT SELLING ANYTHING... read on....
Totally ninja way to obtain an idea how your favorite person on the web is marketing his stuff....
Let me introduce you to a 15yr old tool called Sam Spade

Now. this tool can be used for nefarious purposes but what I am about to describe is completely above the fray. Totally legit, not black hat...etc. It is just an automated way to look at an organizations web foot print
So, here is the step by step.
1. install spade
2. type in the url of your favorite guru... I used www . aweber .com
3 Goto tools>crawl website> Check the box Search Website for >External Links
The robot will then go out and find every link that leads off the site. You can do internal too but thats usually pretty messy and long. Click any link and it opens up the raw html....
With that info you draw a lot of conclusions about this companys web presence, products marketed and tactics. The surprising one on this list for me was their use of wikipedia linking.... cool stuff....
Anyway. I am trained in information enumeration and know alot about the web. I am glad I found good ole frank kern and started becoming open to the possibilities of Inet marketing....
