Is it possible to eliminate the hissing sound of a recorded audio?

Hello,
I have a video presentation which has quite a bit of hissing sound. I was wondering if there are any tools out there that can remove this noise. Please advise.

Thanks
Dan

Yes, within some limitations. You can try fooling around with
Audacity (Open Source), which has some filters and tools you
can use to get rid of some of the hiss.

It's generally a matter of figuring out which general frequency the
hissing noise is at and pushing the volume at that frequency
down so it's much quieter and not as noticeable.

Use a low-pass filter. Techno sweep effects aside, that's what they're for. Adjust the cutoff frequency upward until your main content isn't overly altered. If there's a resonance parameter, keep it at zero.

Check out 'audio lava' on the page. It just might be what you're looking for.

In the future, I would suggest getting some better equipment. That noise you're hearing is a grounding problem in your sound setup.
