Honestly, your plan is awful. You should rethink it entirely. And you're going to waste time and probably money when you first start running a business. Especially if you're completely new - it's not an exact science.

You're going to set up an entire blog around one Clickbank product? There are a few issues with that. One, how much can you really say about one product? Two, what if the vendor changes or removes the product? (Hint: your entire business immediately goes down the drain). Three, people aren't stupid, they'll realize you're just trying to push a product.

I'm not an affiliate marketer, but if that's the route you're going to take, I would research list building and affiliate marketing like my life depended on it. Most affiliates sales don't come from directly linking from your site to an affiliate offer. They come through a relationship with your list.

If you're going to blog, blog about a topic that people like and spend money on: things like health, relationships, hobbies. Then be as helpful as possible and connect with your audience. Then recommend products that actually help your audience.

Money needs money. Invest to learn what you want to achieve. Even if you're going to use so much freebies available online to build your online business, you still need to invest toward the learning. For example; Youtube is free, but you may need to learn how to create a video using your phone. You even need to buy the correct phone for that. And if you want to make a quick route, then you need to get a coach to teach you the right way to do it faster.

What I mean is there's no such thing of a free or easy way to make money online. It can be simple, but not easy. The word easy only comes with your experiences later on.

    Good luck!

It's not the best plan as it relies on ranking your blog quickly which isn't going to be easy. There's also a trust factor when it comes to pages that are obviously selling something. I'm definitely no expert here, and I've literally only started my own Clickbank promotion yesterday, but I have a slightly different approach.

I'm aiming to create an authority site, and I've been steadily building it over the past 7 months. So when I start promoting Clickbank products there's an established body of content to legitimize my recommendation. In short, your promotion needs a bit of context.

So I write a comprehensive review of the product. I describe the problem and how it's affected me. After a couple of paragraphs I offer the visitor a free eBook on the problem in exchange for their email address. This eBook offers a few hints and tips but not too much detail. But it buys you some good faith and you now have someone on your list who's interested in this product you're trying to sell.

By the end of the review I'm blown away by the product and I include a tasteful call to action to click though and buy the product. Some marketers will tell you not to include a link to the product at all but I was kinda chicken about missing the opportunity.

So they either buy or they don't. If they don't you follow up in a few days with a friendly reminder that they can still buy this killer product. Nothing too pushy, you're just putting their eyes on the product again.

Like I say, I've just started this yesterday, and only have one list sign up to show for it but it'll be interesting to see how it goes when I start promoting it.

    It won't happen, Fatima.

In theory? Everything you've just said is correct.

    To recap:
    • Setup a Wordpress blog.
    • Monetize with Adsense and Clickbank.
    • SEO your blog pages and posts.
It won't happen because it takes a great deal of knowledge to make it happen, and all of the above (the bullets) rely on knowing a great many related subjects. As someone else mentioned: "If only it were that easy."

What will likely happen, instead, is you'll put your heart and soul and time and money into a venture that will never deliver a cent in return, leaving you so peed off with online marketing that you'll take off, never to be seen from again.

That's the reality, and a common story.

Is there any good news? Tons, yes.

For a start (and I hate myself for sounding so trite), you've taken action. By simply developing a plan and coming to Warrior Forum, you've taken action. And, Fatima? That means you're ahead of the game. (The newbie game.)

    This is what I suggest . . .
    • Decide on a niche that you can write about with passion and authority.
    • Put together a simple blog.
    • Integrate a newsletter popup plugin.
    • Get aWeber or Get Response to run the newsletter.
    • Offer an incentive to join the newsletter.
    • Give the incentive to subscribers in eBook and video form.
    • Blog on your subject.
    • Monetize with a combination of PPL and PPS affiliate offers.
    • Use socials to send traffic to the blog posts.
That's a very simple plan indeed (although I doubt it seems so), and it'll still require you to learn how to do each of those things. Get yourself Wordpress Seo (it's a WP plugin). That'll help with SEO. I'd avoid concentrating on SEO just now (too much to ask of yourself when you're new) and just concentrate on turning the lights green inside Wordpress SEO. Put most of your effort in learning 1 decent traffic generation method for socials. Use that to build traffic to those blog posts.

If you can manage the above, Fatima, you can then think about upgrading the model to something more adventurous, but I'd keep things simple for now. We all have to start somewhere.

    Best of luck!

    - Tom

If you don't have a lotta money Fatima, definitely get a job - or work another part time job - to make enough money so you don't see the internet as a money-making venture. It really is not IM is a helping venture, for months, and months, and then, you can make a nice living through IM. Over months, and years. Just seeing the red flag of "I don't have funds anyway", which is fear, and with fear of not having much money as one driver, you're almost always guaranteed to fail, because you will chase profits, not passions. And when the profits don't show up....the motivator is gone.

Tom, I really appreciated your information. I am a newbie in this industry and loving the journey, I am an affiliate marketer, came out of a lifelong career that has age restrictions so will not serve me once I hit a certain number. I needed something that I could work on for the rest of my journey through this life. I am totally passionate about this new industry I find myself in and cannot learn enough, it feeds my soul to be able to create something, using all my strengths, the artist in me, the brainstorming, thinking out of the box, figuring things out (sometimes the hard way, having been banned for life from creating ads on facebook, bummer!!) I know without a doubt I will be successful within my new industry, i relish the day I am through my learning curve stage, well, the newbie learning curve, as I know I will never stop learning new techniques and improving what I do and how I do it. I am new to the forum, I appreciate all you successful marketers out there that are willing to share. Thank you

    Hi Fatima,

    - Do you like what you are doing?
    - Do you have a passion for what you are doing?
    - Or do you actually love what you are doing?

If you answer these questions honestly, and, if you pick a niche and venture that you love love love working, because you feel passionate about it, the confusion dissolves into clarity.

This is way too easy and way too ineffective. If you're planning to start a blog and earn through affiliate marketing, you'd need to not only focus on a single product but provide viewers/readers with tons of helpful and relevant information on every product related to your niche. It would be great if you set up a product reviews blog, sign up for Clickbank and other affiliate marketing sites, and write reviews on the products mentioned on your affiliate link.

    • I have done all the research about sales funnels. All kinds of funnels, they seem very great by the way. So i think i want to go this route with thrive themes optin page, Thank You page and Sales page. Now i know i been told i need to start a YouYube Channel or a Blog.

How much content should i have on my blog before i start to even promote the blog?

Right Now i dont have a good camera or the best speaking skills when it comes to being recorded, but i can use Adobe Up and Down photoshop, affect effects, Preimere making great slide shows. Lets be honest im a fat girl and im not the best looking.

so i was wondering is slideshows and voice overs effective for Affilate Marketing?

Last Question is do i need the actual blog website to actually get started with marketing today for Facebook Ads and Other Ads like with making banner ads?
