Newbie Affiliate Merchant
Hi guys - long time ghost reader first time posting on Warrior Forum.
To quickly introduce myself - I've set up an eCommerce store and want to explore selling our products via affiliates. The business is based in Aus.
I've searched the forums and couldn't really find a guide to listing our products on an affiliate network, so would love some guidance as to best practices for doing so.
The questions I have:
1. What affiliate networks would be best for Australia?
2. Are there any common newbie mistakes I should avoid when listing my product for affiliates to sell? (traps or scams to avoid, things that would piss affiliates off)
3. What would be considered a good % or $ value to attract high quality affiliates? (all our products are priced over $100 AUD)
4. Should I include a validation period for the sale?
5. As a first timer on affiliate networks - should I allow affiliates to dictate copy and content or should we keep branding homogeneous and produce it ourselves?
