questions about sales funnels

I have done all the research about sales funnels. All kinds of funnels, they seem very great by the way. So i think i want to go this route with thrive themes optin page, Thank You page and Sales page. Now i know i been told i need to start a YouYube Channel or a Blog.

How much content should i have on my blog before i start to even promote the blog?

Right Now i dont have a good camera or the best speaking skills when it comes to being recorded, but i can use Adobe Up and Down photoshop, affect effects, Preimere making great slide shows. Lets be honest im a fat girl and im not the best looking.

so i was wondering is slideshows and voice overs effective for Affilate Marketing?

Last Question is do i need the actual blog website to actually get started with marketing today for Facebook Ads and Other Ads like with making banner ads?

    Hi

You need to build a list first.

Then send an email everyday promoting what you sell, giving tips on what they can expect to learn from you if they buy.

You dont have to get complicated with funnels.

    An email EVERY day.

Honestly, your post is all over the place and hard it follow. There are a million different types of funnels out there. In fact, every sales process includes a funnel of some sort. It doesn't appear that you've don't any research on affiliate marketing funnels.

The best recommendation I can give is to ensure you have products in your funnel that will allow you to use paid advertising methods. Otherwise, it will likely be a hard, slow process to scaling.

How much content should you have? It depends. What's the content being used for? How are you going to get traffic to the content? If you're using the content for lead generation, I would focus on putting out a few very high quality pieces of content and work on distributing those pieces of contents to get traffic. If you're just going to post a bunch of stuff and hope that google sends traffic to you one day, I would use the spray and pray method and just crank out as much quality content as possible.

It doesn't sound like you need a camera. It sounds like you need software that will record your screen and your voice.

Video is a very good lead generation method, depending on the niche you're in. However, you don't mention what niche you're in.

It would be quicker to flush your money down the toilet than to spend it driving Facebook ads to your blog. If you're going to spend money on ads, you should have a funnel set up and the people entering that part of your funnel should be at a stage in which they're ready to make a purchase.

    • Im sorry left that out ok. well this is my plan. i want to use youtube good idea to just use my voice. im great at making awesome slideshows in adobe affect effects.

I want to make a blog about Love,Sex,and Relationships
I can touch on alot of subjects if i can make a blog with HQ content for women and men. Dating Niches and Beauty and Health Niches. so then i can do youtube videos going to my sales funnel with would be a optin for the product and then i want to have the thank you page going to my blog on the content which talks about the issue which is helping and suggesting the product going in for the kill.

I really appreicate you taking your time writing me too.
I know its only 4 steps to marketing but this shit is hard work noooo matter what you choose to do. Rome was not built in a day.

I was told it i make slideshows it would be a waste of my time

Here's my simple sales funnel that I have used successfully for affiliate marketing in the make money online niche (and it works great for the big 3 niches).

opt-in page --> thank you page --> 5-7 day email autoresponder followed up with broadcast emails.

I mix in value emails (no selling) with soft pitches and hard pitches.

(sidenote: I also use Thrive Themes and I love it)

How much content do you need on your blog?

    Experts publish content consistently.

I'm a fan of creating authority channels that stand the test of time and aren't about quick money.

So whether you decide on blogging or youtube is up to you. It really depends on where your audience likes to hang out.

One guy I followed had a great strategy to build an authority brand in the "make money online" niche.

He created a YouTube video everyday for 6 months and each week he would transcribe two videos into blog posts for his website. He optimized the content for SEO keywords.

After 6 months, he was getting 70,000 visits to his blog and had over 13,000 youtube scribers.

    So what's the point?
My point is to pick a platform you can see building long-term and staying consistent with.

Google and YouTube love authority channels and blogs.

I don't think you can ignore video. Everything is video now (instagram story, snapchat, facebook stories, facebook lives, youtube).

If you don't put yourself out on video, then you'll be buried by marketers like me who are willing to do it.

You can start with recording just your screen and audio using Camtasia/Screenflow recording software and a Yeti Mic for crisp audio.

You can do powerpoint/keynote presentations or Google Docs. It doesn't have to be fancy.

Do You Need A Blog To Run Facebook Ads?

    No.

You can run ads to a squeeze page immediately, but it will be to cold traffic. This works, you just have to get the messaging of your ad copy down.

Once you have some blog posts published, you can run Facebook Ads to them and optimize your post with opt-in forms so that they can subscribe.

You can also install a Facebook tracking pixel so that you can run Facebook retargeting ads to people who have already visited your website and read some of your content (warm traffic). These people will convert better with ads directly to a squeeze page.

With cold traffic, you could send ads to blog posts to warm them up before asking them to subscribe.

    ?
Few really good posts would be enough.

Yes, you can use slideshows as well. No need to speak on the video or being shown in it.

Or you can buy some ready to go videos with PLR rights and use them.
