Founds this nice, short post on one great site about building Passive Income. It's about blog being a bar and it's really a simple concept that most people don't get:

The Obvious Part of Online Marketing that Most People Are Missing | The Smart Passive Income Blog

Give this a short read, check out the site, this guy is very transparent with his earnings (actually posts monthly earnings on the blog) and gives details about his online business. Good resource for every aspiring blogger/IMer...

Cheers

Most of my blogs are billboards.

And they make more than that $125 a month in Adsense.

Great post. Since I am a musician and perform in bars I have always thought of my Website as my virtual self in one huge bar called the Web.

I do all the same things on the site - I offer music, I say hi, I ask for tips in my tip jar, I offer to stay in touch (subscribe), I sell CDs, I hang out and chat with people, etc.

This approach has worked really really well - versus just have a site that is there to sell, sell or beg people to come out and "support me" - I hate that saying. This way I am able to meet lots of really great people from all over the world who use my music.
