I'm confused, you posted an Amazon affiliate link for a product in a Facebook group, and no conversions/transactions have been made?

Then it's simple; nobody has purchased the product through your affiliate link.

Doesn't matter where you post the link, it's a unique URL connected to your account, meaning that you can technically post them in YouTube comment sections and convert viewers into buyers, awarding you with your commission.

    However...

This is NOT a profitable way of making money through the Amazon Affiliate program.

If you're interested in the model, why not create a website, reviewing said products and placing the links there?

    Benefits of doing this?

Many, hopefully recurring traffic, warmer leads, higher conversion rates.

Send me a message if you want some more personal help, there's a lot of ground to cover.

Hope I didn't misinterpret your post!

    Regards,

    Karl

Al answered this below (something I was unaware of actually, since I've only posted Amazon affiliate links on sites I own), you need to own the wen property according to the terms of service over at Amazon.

But if you really don't want a blog or site to promote these products, then I don't know what to tell you. Maybe move onto another passive income route?

To make money with Amazon (due to the extremely low commission rate) you need to refer A LOT of people to the products, or refer some people to a VERY expensive product.

Both of which could only realistically be accomplished by starting with a site/blog/landing page of your own, preferably combined with an email list and newsletter.

Hope this helped clarify some issues.

        Regards,

        Karl

    hey there

Internet market takes time and effort ...dont give up

the right way to promote amazon niches is to create a landing page or blog for your niche
    then
on the landing page/blog you do some writeup about your niche..make a good sale presentation here to your visitors
    then
use facebook group to drive free traffic to your landing page or blog
if you have a few dollars buy some payed traffic from fiverr.com
but pick 1 niche and stay with it until you start making some sales
then you can add a 2nd niche
    ok

Well, if you take the time to read the terms of service you would know that your links have to be on a web property you own. There are exceptions but to verify you need to speak with amazon

Al, I was unaware of this (never read the TOS thoroughly though since I've always posted Amazon links on sites I own), so I would have to retract some of my statements from above.

      Thanks for bringing this up!

      Regards,

      Karl

Here's probably the most complete guide on affiliate marketing I've ever come across.

This should be a paid product but the author has done a huge service to Smart Blogger's readers by creating this guide for free.

Bookmark it, 'cause it's going to take a while to digest all the information.

      Good luck!
