Including a Translation as an E-Book Afilliate

I want to join an E-Book Affiliate program, but I want to include my translation of said E-Book.

In other words, I want to sell someone else´s E-book in another language.

I came to the conclusion that I need to redirect people to the original writer so they buy the original and then send them my translated version.

Is this possible?

I´m not sure of how to proceed. Shall I pitch it to the original author first?

Or should I just offer the author my translated version?

What kind of tools do I need to set this up?

      Unfortunately no. Unless you create the system specific for that, which still needs other party approval to connect your system with their payment system.

    Thanks for the direct answer.

    Now I see that my original pitch revealed the author how much of a novice I really am.

    What I need to do is send the author my translated copy and only then try to get his approval.

    I think the author may be expecting me to give him my translated copy for free.

    Shall I just go ahead and give him the translation, hoping I can become an affiliated of my own translation?

    Actually you can just re-write any ebook into any language you can as a whole new ebook and sell it for your self on your own niche market. This way you can get 100% profit for your self, especially if you are in the different geo-location far away from the original ebook's author. You can also re-write the ebook as an audiobook or videobook for different marketing approach. Just think out of the box. Good luck!
