Oh thanks for the reply, but again I want to tell you that there is no traffic on my site but the content is my own and I write it myself everyday. So are you sure that they wont reject my adsense because I have no traffic?

I applied for Adsense when my first site was in a "Coming Soon" mode and got approved, so I guess you can apply right away.

I would wait though. Do you have an income or real life job today? If so, focus on that and try to grow your site on the side to start with.

The reason for waiting with Adsense to focus on getting quality traffic through the door first, don't bombard your site with ads, 'cause that will put people off.

It wouldn't really matter if you already had a following 'cause these people wouldn't mind the ads.

But since you don't have any traffic at the moment, focus on getting people through the door, greeting them with a clean and nice site, filled with awesome content and no distraction (such as ads).

Hope this helped, I have a ton more I could share, but like I said in a previous thread a minute ago, I'm in a rush and will maybe return to this later tonight.

    Good luck!

    Regards,

    Karl

Thanks that was very helpful. Can you tell me how to get traffic I am new in all this. The site is about health care and cures of different diseases with the help of items that are available in your kitchen.

        Don't mention it.

First of all, make sure that your site has a clear message, you said you discuss ways of curing diseases using household items? Is there any scientific data to back this up? If yes, then use that as a way to build authority.

Second, identify your target audience. Is it mostly women in their 40's? Men in their 20's? Or is it applied to everyone? This will affect how you speak, write and market yourself.

        Examples:

Men are often more brutish, they don't mind brash language, direct points and often appreciate cold facts.

Women respect people who listen to them, they speak with emotion and often find personal stories to be uplifting.

Naturally, this will differ and vary depending on the individual, just taking this from various psychological reports and experiments.

Okay, so now you have a message ready and a target audience to deliver to. This is an important step, to get to know your brand and customer. It will help you focus, help people and ultimately make you money.

But the question at hand was:

        "How do I get traffic?"

The answer? You market yourself, you build relationships with people, you offer solutions to problems.

Here's a few steps I like to take though:

        1. Build a presence on forums, be helpful, don't spam your site link.
        2. Do market research on what people click on in your industry. Create content with irresistible content. Promote this content on social media (Facebook, Twitter etc.).
        3. Email influencers in your industry and offer your help.
        4. Do proper SEO on your site (there are hundreds of threads on this here on WF).
        5. Comment in blog comment sections, same rule as forums though, be helpful, don't spam.

I guess that's where I'd start. I'll most likely publish a more comprehensive thread on this in a week or two here on WF, I'll notify you if you want?

        Good luck until then!

        Regards,

        Karl

    Build a following first

Promote your site on all the major social media platforms

    Ask your visitors for feedback

Reach out to other health bloggers and collaborate

There are tons of other things you need to be doing INSTEAD of wondering about Adsense

Monetization is LAST on the list

Focus on building a brand first

Write an eBook. Create a course. Then, after you are earning more than pennies per click, with some savings earned through big ticket products, consider applying for Adsense. Going the Adsense route when you don't have hundreds to thousands of targeted visitors a day is a recipe for financial struggles. Create something useful. Make money. Real money. Then apply for Adsense when you have big time traffic.
