Default A basic ClickBank question please ...

Shame on me to be asking this since I've been using
CB for 7 years now but ...

Can you only have one product in the marketplace per account?
So for each new product you have to pay the $49?

Thanks!

Ray,
Yes, you can only have one product in the marketplace at any particular time per account but you can rotate your products on the marketplace on one account, by using the "my site" link. Just enter the details to your other product and that will show up in the marketplace, until there is no sales for 30 days or you decide to rotate another product. What ever product is in this area is the product that appears on the marketplace.

This was my impression, but I thought somehow I was wrong.

I signed with ClickBank over 7 yrs ago and I never even listed
my product in the marketplace--I foolishly thought this was
automatically listed.

So could you have all your marketplace listings (per account)
under the same account (name)?

There will only be one marketplace listing at any one time per account.
If you want 5 products listed on the marketplace at the same time you will
have to sign up another 4 times as a vendor which is $29.95 x 4

Is this what you're asking?

Ray

Each account allows you to have an entry in the Marketplace.

The entry is a web page which is often the first item (product)
in the account but can contain (i.e. link to) multiple products.

Hi Ray, you can multiple products on one account, but only one gets listed in the market place.

OK, I think I got it now. So I'll need 5 different vendor accounts for
5 different simultaneous marketplace listings and I could use the
same name for each vendor account.

Eureka!

I think each account has to have a unique vendor name, I could be wrong.

Correct!
or you could do what Harvey suggested, but I wouldn't do that, I want a single product/site with no other distractions. 90% of the time anyway.

Hi guys,
This thread couldnt have come at a better time for me actually. Ive just launched a secondary product to my account, and was hoping it would automatically be listed in the marketplace. Obviously not.

I dont want to have to switch between the two products, or infact decide which product I list altogether once I have multiple products, so I guess I will need to "rejoin" under a different account?

What I dont quite understand is "Same vendor name but a unique vendor ID"

Could someone explain this to me please?

here's an example of your two accounts at clickbank:

Vendor Name ||||||||||||||| Clickbank ID (vendor ID)
Your Full Name ||||||||||||||| abcde
Your Full Name ||||||||||||||| fghij

Your account name is your name, while your CB ID will be different

Just found this article on the clickbank site which I think explains it fairly clearly.

Selling Multiple Products

Looks like a new account

I find it quite frustrating that you cant sell multiple products in the marketplace under the one account.

So, lets be clear here, If I have 3 websites and 3 different products, I can use that in one account or I have to open 3 accounts?

Thanks!

You can use one account for those 3 products, up to 500 products if you like, but if you want all 3 products to be listed on the marketplace at the same time, then you need 3 accounts. Your 2nd and 3rd account will be $29.95 each

When you "listed" your product did you request product approval? When you do you will need to pay the activation charge.

Here are the steps:

* Sign up
*Make a "Pitch Page" to promote and sell your product
* Designate a "HopLink Target URL"
* Make a "Thank You Page" to deliver your product
* Test your links
* Request product approval
* Pay the activation charge
* Connect to the ClickBank affiliate network to optimize your sales
