Does anyone know of a desktop application that lets you put files you want to download into a que? Say I buy a product with 35 files to download. I want to be able to put them all into an application and have it download them all. It would do the first file in the list and automatically go down the line once the current file is finished downloading. All I would have to do is select a destination folder for the group, click "go", and walk away. Rather than having to download one at a time by right clicking and waiting for each file to download before I move on to the next. Does something like this exist? |

Use a download manager. I personally use free download manager which can be downloaded from freedownloadmanager.org. You can add user name and password required to access the download as well. To add multiple downloads in a single click select the entire page, rightclick-> download all and then remove unwanted html and other files using the filter option. Revolves |

I agree with the above... I use a download manager... They do a great deal more than scheduling downloads. Mine synchronizes with membership sites I'm a member of to make sure I'm kept up to date with all the latest downloads. It also allows you to download several files in parallel, and downloads files faster by 'splitting' them, and downloading the separate parts, and then merging them together. http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com <- no affiliation. Lance, You want getright. You load all your files in the que by right clicking them and selecting "copy shortcut" and saving them to your folder. It is easy and last I knew it was free or shareware. I use it free all the time. I load all my files in the que click "automatic download" and it does them all while I sleep. You can set it to download 1 at a time or several. Mike |
