If you you a virtual assistant, maybe you can participate in this thread with your suggestions. What I'd like is a Virtual Assistant who is proficient in "internet marketing" activities. I would like a proactive VA who makes suggestions on how they can help me with "tasks". Do you use a VA? What do you use them for...and who do you recommend? |

Hi Jason - yes I use a VA for a multitude of tasks from everything like website creation, sales letter formatting, traffic generation, research, software testing, backlink submitting, SEO, etc. The list goes on and on. Having a VA is an amazing way to streamline you marketing activities so you can focus on making MORE money instead of seemingly montonous tasks. Feel free to PM me for my VA recommendation |

Sure, I'll PM you now. The reason I asked on this forum is because it usually stirs up some ideas. I know what I'd like a VA to do but if I can gather a list of VA's who have specialties (and don't need to be trained for specific tasks)...it would be valuable info.

Jeryl Massini, Frank Kern's VA (and so much more!) shared an amazing tip with me about how she and Frank operate. I use it all the time now. Whenever Frank wants her to do an unfamiliar task, like internet marketing related stuff, he records a camtasia screen cast of himself actually doing it and talks her through exactly what he is doing. You see how powerful this simple little thing is. So the "training for specific tasks" no longer becomes a big deal. If you think about it, you're asking a bit too much really, because if someone knew how to do all of the internet marketing stuff themselves they'd be doing it themselves and wouldn't want to work for a guy like you. It's like hiring a secretary and expecting her to go off and negotiate all of of the big deals. Thomas |

Hey hey! Don't thank me, thank Jeryl. She's a sweetheart ![]() In fact, I've been trying to persuade her to write a course for those wanting to become VA's AND for those wanting to hire VA's. You could (ALL!) help me persuade her by sending an email to support@frankkernhelpdesk.com with "Thomas says write the damn book!" as a subject line and maybe a few nice words of encouragement from the WF ![]() As I always say it only takes a minute to make someone feel special ![]() Thomas |

I too would be interested in peoples experiences with hiring and managing a VA. I have been considering employing somebody myself lately, but am concerned about managing somebody who is likely to be in a significantly different timezone to my own. How do you guys deal with managing somebody who is asleep whilst you are awake and vice versa? |

I use a VA for processing orders. If you hire one who isn't reliable or consistently does a bad job, you may simply need to find someone else. The first one I hired wasn't great, but I have a reliable person now, and it's making my life a lot less stressful. The VA thing works best for tasks that you have to do over and over again approximately the same way. For example, if you have to send each customer a personal email after their purchase, a VA would be a good option. |

I use VA's from managing my projects to doing basic research for me. I hire a team of VA's that have different qualities and are able to preform different jobs and then I have all areas of my business covered. Good Luck on your VA hunt and PM me if you need a few recommendations. |
