I've been asked to host a webinar and have never done one before. Basically I want to be able to show my computer screen as I explain the various things. I would like for it to be interactive so that I can hold a question and answer session following the presentation. Initially, I will need to accomodate about 100 people. Thanks in advance for your input. All The Very Best, Tony |

Tony - I use webex in my day job for demos, webinars, and customer support. I can highly recommend it, but its not a one use product and is kinda pricey. There are other services like webex, if you search the forum you should be able to find them or do a google search. I can't comment on them since I've never used them though. For conference call only type teleseminars I've had great luck with Skype as well as freeconference.com. Both work well. I am currently working my way through a WSO from fellow Warrior Dennis Becker on webinar best practices and can recommend it. Good stuff so far but its aimed at more a teleconference situation than video. Good luck! best, --Jack |

I know a lot of warriors use GoToWebinar.com for webinars. I haven't used it personally, but I use the company's other program - GoToMyPC.com - to access my home computer from work and have found it to be pretty high quality.

GoToWebinar.com allows you to do a webinar, show your screen or an application (like Power Point or a PDF) and allows up to 1000 participants. Free 30 day trial and $99 a month after.

You can also use GoTomeeting which is pretty much the same as GoToWebinar except you can hold smaller more intimate webinars for 15 people or less. Their monthly fee is around $49 month and I believe there is a free trial. Frank Bruno |
