So your here to make money?

Have you read every book about making money?

Have you listened to every tape?

Followed every e-book to the word and still not made any money?

I have done all of the above, with one key difference.

I have made money.

I have read literally 100's of books on internet marketing, marketing in general, and business.
I have listened and watched every course out there aswell.

All those things have helped, they've all helped grow my money and helped me be the best internet marketer I can possibly be.

But there was only one lesson that taught me how to make money simply.
Only one lesson or "secret" has made me thousands.

And it didn't cost a dime, actually it only cost me a nickel

Young Zachary set of on an adventure through the neighborhood at age 10. Walking by all the houses I saw something that caught my eye. A little cooler on the front lawn with a bright sign saying "Popsicles for sale!".
Coming closer I asked the slightly older girl if I could buy one.
She said it would be a nickel, digging around in my pocket all I found was lint. So I ran back to my house, ran in the door, went to the stool by the kitchen counter got on it and found my mothers purse. Digging around for a little while I found one shinny nickel.
I ran back to the cooler as quick as I could and quickly gave her the nickel.
She gladly gave me one popsicle, and as I was walking away she said "Wait a second".
I turned around and she ran and gave me another popsicle!
And said "Hope to see you again"
I was shocked, and in awe as I turned and went back home.

Everyday for the rest of the summer I went to her little cooler 4 houses down and paid her a nickel.
I never got 2 popsicles for a nickel again, but I still always went back.

So do you see where I'm going with this?
Maybe if she didn't give me that second popsicle I never would've gone back, Maybe I would have never told every neighborhood friend about it.

But because she went the extra mile I was made into a lifelong customer!(well summer long atleast)

The point is by going the extra mile, by giving that extra unexpected gift you get life long customers.

Would you buy something from me if you knew you'd get double the value in 'unadvertised bonuses'? I bet you wouldn't hesitate to much.

She didn't do much, but she did enough to get me to pay her 100's of nickels.

How would you like a repeat customer that paid you over and over again.
How would you like 100?
Heck why not 1000 repeat customers?

I'm not here to tell you how to get the customers. (I bet you would love it I did though)

It's your job to get them, but make your life easier and keep all your customers.

The hardest part is finding them, keeping them should be easy if you suprise them once in awhile.

Because who doesn't like good suprises?

Zach

  • One of the greatest sales technique comes after the actual sale.

If you over deliver, and really impress your client / customer, you have a red, hot, steaming lead. Anything you did that this person would pay you for, most likely knows other people willing to pay for the same service or product.

If you over deliver, you can literally call up that client / customer and ask them for word of mouth recommendations, and they'll be more than grateful to oblige.

I've ran a few affiliate contests, where I gave the winner an extra $500, and bluntly said "Hey, you know I over deliver, I'm a good guy, tell your friends to get a hold of me and set something up".

It's all leverage of some kind baby.

Money isn't real, George. It doesn't matter. It only seems like it does.

Back before my email marketing business blew up because of my own mismanagement (fully admitted), I often followed this method. I had ridiculous repeat business - more than I could handle in its heyday.

The word-of-mouth advertising it garners is simply amazing. People talk, especially if they get either really bad or unexpectedly great service.

Thats very true, people never talk about the OK business' they only talk about the amazing or horrible ones.
