Anyone Had Any Success Buying Websites From Flippa?

Hi All,


has anyone purchased a website from places such as Flippa? As I am considering purchasing a website that already has some monthly revenue and would like to know if anyone has any success with this?

    Check the prior history of the seller

    Also, steer clear of sites younger than 3 years old

    It's too easy to regret stuff you buy at Flippa

    Do a search on this forum for other people's bad experiences

    It´s quite risky to buy a website on Flippa.

    If you buy, you actually need to buy a site, that makes money consistently through a few years, and preferably with organic traffic.

    This can be very expensive for you.

    Maybe you should jump in and begin to sell some starter sites yourself, and begin to save, some of the profits from those flips, and then buy a site, that will give you organic traffic and income, from Adsense, Amazon or something else.

    There will be to much risk for you if you just jump in and buy something, that makes money from paid traffic or gets traffic that way.

    Like Writeaway says, check history of the seller and how old the site is and where the traffic comes from.

    A site with only paid traffic is in my opiniom pretty useless and very risky.
