I have seen a lot of bad quality leads that people offer out there. Is there a good source?

      chris is right yet again,

you have your own leads, they are fresh, and have not been spammed today.

The secret or tactic I have known is to wake up and generate fresh leads to my business each day. I have tried many things in the past, but this is the thing that beat all my other tactics by about 800%.....

      make them your own leads,

and then when you have buyers, make sure you save your buyer leads in a seperate pile. Your buyer leads is like having a 1 kg gold nugget in your pocket....they are pricessless, do not share them save them for yourself.

True true, and here is why: you need to learn your niche inside-out to generate quality leads, and said learning process makes you an authority in your niche. Win-win.

A few years ago, I used a company called Cutting Edge Media.
The more the lead has been verified, such as by phone, the more
expensive it will be. I was a noob at the time so I didn't really know
what I was doing but I still was able to make a few sales.

If you want to gather your own leads, a cheaper alternative would be
to use udimi.com which is a solo ad seller. I've used them once and
tested out a small order of 200 clicks and gained 65 leads.

Just make sure you have a good capture page with a high converting
email list and you should make out ok.

I'm sure you have heard this before, but there are a thousand ways to skin a cat and it really just depends on you go about utilizing each source.

Here are some of my favorite ways to get quality leads:

Quora - Ansering questions consistently with relevant quality content to lead people back to..

Facebook Fan Pages - Reverse engineering the competitions audience,,

Solo Ads - Leveraging existing lists from other internet marketers

Video Marketing - This along with good seo is the best way inmy opinion organically..because its evergreen, and limitless

Quora is beyond excellent Jon. I also find I can link in to squeeze or sales pages with each post; not a bad deal for getting clicks while helping folks.

Don't buy leads. As some posters said above...learn how to generate your own.

You never know where these vendors are getting their email addresses to sell to you.

I was marketing a different system in the past (was just an affiliate) and the buggers decided to sell all of our email addresses and cell phone numbers to new online biz owners (newbies).

This is low down and dirty.

Now I keep getting calls every other day from people who are not very skilled in the art of prospecting lol.

And I'm just a stubborn SOB (no offense Mom) who is just not ready to change his phone number.

So in a nutshell, I most likely won't be your 'target' market.

As far as only generating your own leads. So much depends on the market.

I get that most here are into MMO and I can't say beyond a reasonable doubt how well that market does with purchased data. There are so many niches within it and data you get is likely going to be more broad-based.

Where with financial niches, data exists that is pinpoint targeted.

Those that professionally monetizing data are usually just converting the data into real-time leads that are being purchased. So there is no purchase required to complete an offer. All a user has to do is fill out a form in order to convert the data into cash producing assets.

Where with MMO, the recipient likely has to make a purchase for you to make any money and since you may not be dealing with highly targeted data, that makes it more difficult. However, if you could get fresh data that is targeted specifically for your niche, it may be worth doing a small test.

Also, the OP didn't mention what type of leads. If they need actual end-buyer leads then it could be totally worthwhile purchasing.

So it's not entirely black or white as to whether you should only generate your own leads.

Ask yourself this question...if the leads someone is trying to sell you are so good, then why would they want to sell them in the first place?...that is unless they are being resold or something else nefarious is going on.

I have tried a handful of lead providing merchants over the years with MOST of them generating unsatisfactory results. Some however, did turn a profit. At least initially, before they too started to fizzle out making their acquisition cost prohibitive.

PPC is a great way to drive high quality leads to your offers. High volume and with the right network with the right account managers will yield you the highest return on your campaign budget. Some networks even offer optimization tools and blacklists that help you filter traffic in order to give your campaign a head start.

Yes....you Meaning, help folks through your blog, build a friend network of loyal buddies by promoting folks from your niche, and your leads will be beyond quality. They will be customers in waiting. They didn't accidentally stumble upon your site. They bought in. Well before you sold anything. Then when you do sell, sales are automatic. Happens with each new eBook release I do. I had to work on the front end to create a quality list and readership but on the backend, selling is a breeze.

The reality is if someone finds a source for good quality leads, he would probably keep it to himself to avoid saturation of any sort.

However, you could use platforms like YouTube and Facebook to generate your own leads. Basically find out where your target audience hangs out and get in front of them.
