The IM closet that is. I put up my first "set and forget" content site last week. Example-Press-Release.com I'm interested in having my fellow Warriors visit and tell me what's good and bad and what you would change, add or take away. It's monitized in multiple ways. 1. There's a pitch to hire me as your press release writer. That landed me 3 jobs in under a week. If that continues, this site will be worth it's weight in gold even if none of the other features drive any revenue. 2. The content in the middle of the site is either CB products, or pay per sale through other affiliate networks. That's not working out well. I track clicks to the each seller's site and plenty of people are heading that way, but no sales. I even have some order form impressions on the CB stuff, but no buyers. I'd love some comments on that section. 3. The next side bar, the example press release section, pays me per headline click. It's getting hammered as you might expect since people who find my site are looking for example press releases. 4. There's the Google stuff on the bottom. Only $11 since Friday, so I'd like some suggestions there as well. I'm thinking about moving that sidebar to the top left. Or maybe I need to choose both a different format and position for the ads. What do you think? How about the colors and the template in general? Good, bad, really bad? I look forward to hearing from you. Lisa |

I think you need a bit more umph to your heading - maybe a graphic or something. Also, I noticed that you have no autoresponder setup. This might be good to have so you can get in touch with your clients/future clients about products or future sales you've got going on. Hope that helps a little. Teresa |

I have a second site I just put up that will also have the autoresponder plus a pretty cool back end sales feature. I do have a nice header graphic but my experience has been that pages without headers convert better. That may just be my experience. I'm going to get back into the PHP code that's driving this site and add a split test function so I can see whether or not the header makes a difference. Thanks for the feedback.! | |
