My life-long dream realized and how it relates to your business...

Hello warriors, I just sent this email out to my list, and I hope this "clicks" for you as it clicked for me. (It has been edited slightly to remove links and make it "forum compliant")

Enjoy...

Hello,

I hope you are doing great! I have been a bit inactive the past couple of weeks because my brother came to visit for 3 weeks, I have spent less time working online and I have devoted more time to spending it with him (although it is never enough).

A few days back I wrote a blog post about how I took things to "new heights" and realized a life-long dream. I didn't email you about this blog post because I thought it was very personal in nature and was not really going to help your business. But I was wrong...

After a couple of days of letting things sink in about accomplishing what has always been a dream of mine I realized there was a huge connection to the way things happen (or don't happen) in my business and most likely yours.

You see, my dad was an airline pilot and it had always been my "dream" to fly a plane on my own. I am 30 years old now and I can't remember ever not wanting to do that. Yet, it took me 30 years to actually do it. I have lived in the Houston, TX area for over 10 years and I just now (because of my brother) realized I could make my dream come true for only $49...

The huge problem with this entire scenario is that flying a plane has always been a "dream" of mine, but I never made it my "goal". There is a huge difference between having a dream and setting a goal. A dream is something that seems unreal and unlikely in your brain; therefore you don't take any action towards it. A goal, however, is something you want to accomplish and you design an action plan to achieve it.

Had I set "flying a plane" as a goal of mine, I probably would have found out that I could pay $49 to do it, and I would have done it several times a year for the past decade at the very least.

So how does this all relate to YOUR business and YOUR life?

Simple, I invite you to revisit your life-long dreams and your business dreams and see if there is anything you could do TODAY to take action towards accomplishing them. You will soon find out that many of those dreams can become goals and be achieved in surprisingly short periods of time, making you a happier, better person because of it.

Please be sure to share your dreams and action plans with me.

Sincerely,
Guillermo Puyol
