questions re: Adding video to website

I just got a video done from Chris Willow on this board (which is excellent!) - it's in .flv format.

As long as I've been online... I haven't delved into video as much as I wanted in the past, and have only utilized adding a few Youtube videos to my site.

I've been researching how to add a video to my web page, but I get an endless supply of results (both in bing and google) that supposedly have the info, but when you go to the sites they all say...

"why you shoudl do it"...
"how to create a video with ... "
"how to convert a video to flv"
"how to embed with dreamweaver" (which I don't use).

And endlessly link to adword ads with "convert" stuff - nothing what I need.

Yeah, I can do hard code html in notepad...

but I'm totally pulling my hair out trying to get the RIGHT information on exactly what steps I take when I already HAVE the FLV format, I don't need to convert anything.

I considered using an alternate source (i.e., Youtube or AmazonAWS), but...

Youtube puts ads on it (which I don't want)
AmazonAWS site was pretty confusing on getting started

As I said, I'm not exactly a newbie with sites/design, but haven't done this side before.

Can *anyone* tell me *simply* what do I need to do to put the FLV format on my site?

And/or should I just give in and use Youtube or something like that?

(It's a short 45 second intro to encourage people to opt in for more info on our new program launching in Oct).

Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Amber
