Affiliate script questions. Need Help. Urgent!

by 4 comments

I was planning on setting up a free Joomla! Membership site promoting my own backend-products with the Virtuemart Module. So far, so good.

Now I want to have my affiliates a lifetime commission on every sale and was planning to use the idevAffiliate Software for $348 (including Joomla and Virtuemart integration), but this software works with cookies and IPs, so that there is no way I can offer my affiliates a lifetime commission, as the IP adress and cookies will change for sure after some time.

Anyone has some suggestions or is Joomla just the wrong way to go?

Any help would really be appreciated.

    Hi Martin,

I haven't heard about an affiliate soft that would work without cookies.... How else the visitor could be tracked if not cookies? And no one is protected against deleting cookies etc. - so if I were you I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm using iDevaffiliate with good success and it's really good.

      Thanks Robby for your answer,
I know, that it has to be with cookies and the IP adress gives a little bit of extra security.

But I wanted to know, if there is any type of affiliate system that can guarantee a lifetime commission? I think it had to be a software, that records which user was referred by who to my membership site. And then after every purchase the affiliate software had to look, if this user was referred and who it was.

So is there any solution to this specific problem yet?

P.S.: Sorry for my english, I´m no native speaker

Some warriors think that is very important to make a clear difference between a copywriter, content writer, and writer. Honestly, I thought it wasn't such a big deal. Then, after seeing that this question repeats itself more than once in a few threads, I decided to pay attention to it. It turns out that you think you know, at least this was the case with me, but actually you don't. So, I did a little bit a research about it. A writer is a general term. Hope we can all agree about it. As soon as we associate money and sales with the writing we enter the copywriting zone. I used this formula, which helped me to better understand this semantics gymnastics. Let's see how accurate it is:

I listed for sale to afford me time and resources to build I had in mind to sell at 70k or something around that figure. Brokers evaluated it to worth $90k - $105k but I don't want to wait too long to sell. The site receives 150k users monthly with up to 400k page views. All the traffic comes from Google search. The niche is celebrity news and current affairs. The website currently has over 2,000 green articles.

Christmas is coming, and you all know what that means, Christmas is also one of those moments of year when marketers burns their brains out for creating good an innovative ideas for their campaigns, the money will be out for the taking, and a good marketing campaign is essential for gaining at least a portion of it. Influencer marketing has been one of the brand favorite techniques for getting their products out there, they have really been investing a lot of money and resources on this kind of marketing, and it has really been giving a lot of results, people tend to trust in the influencers they follow, so when they recommend a product, their followers buy it, it really quite simple. However there is a new kind of influencers being born: the microinfluencers, this is, people that have small audiences instead of big ones, you know, people who has 1000 or 5000 followers on Twitter or Instagram instead of a million, brand are starting to target them for their campaigns, and there are several reasons that explain this:

Hello Warriors. I was wondering if any of you could lend me a little advice I'm planning to launch a new product next month in the music niche. I've created 3 free videos to give to my JV partners as part of the pre-launch. Here's my problem: 8 of my JV partners aren't familiar with product launches or with e-mail marketing. They use Facebook groups to communicate with their audience (<---- that's the bad news)
