Funny Spam

Okay, I was looking through my SEO-Related wordpress blog.
As usual, expecting to see a fair bit of spam.
Amongst all the adult related and random, nonsensical spam was this one.

Now it may not be hilarious but I found it funny, atleast.

"I’m always reading about the “Great Apes.” What’s so great about them? How come we never hear about any “Paltry Apes”?"

That was it.

Random and unrelated. What makes the spammer think I'm going to let that pass? Lol.

Anyways, just thought I'd share that with you.

But also ask you what's the funniest/randomest spam you've ever received?

I'm starting up a WF 60's Psychedelic Rock cover band called 'Paltry Apes.'

Matt M and I on guitar. TinkerAndPo in Go-Go Boots and a short skirt playing tambourine. We'll be holding auditions for a lead singer, bass player, and a drummer. Maybe a keyboardist. But you gotta bring it. No slouching.

That one just made me smile. Normally it's a chore deleting the massive amount of spam.

It's spam messages like that, that always get me.

I've just gone through the spam on one of my blogs, and had a look at some of the 'comments' they tried to leave;

'Let's look at your throat' (on a blog about cats!), 'I want to...', 'That's too much!', 'Perhaps...', 'What do you do?', and the irresistable... 'Kendra Wilkinson nude'.

Hmmm! I'm sure I'm going to publish those...

Exactly. But with all the automated programs out there, they probably don't even know what they're posting to what blogs. By they I ofcorse mean spammers.

Nice to know they care.. I saw a post here on the WF the other day about how spammers commented on a post that was made in memory to someones loved one. Heartless.

But anyways..
