Help keep my Parents from moving in to my home w/ my Wife & Kids!!

[Helping Dad]

Quick overview…My father is a small market radio personality. He has a daily radio show where he is on 100 stations. The daily show is 3 ½ min. long. He begins with a teaser for the story, (2) 30 sec. commercials (where he chooses the content), then he tells a story. Each story is approximately 250 words each. He writes and produces the whole show, so he has the soft copy and audio copy of all of the stories. He also has a weekly show where he is on 55 stations. This show is one hour long. Again he does all of the interviewing, editing for the show him self. He also has a 20 page monthly news paper w/ around 2000 subscribers. He does all of the editing, layout and story writing for the news paper as well.

My father is one of the hardest working & passionate men I know. He has been doing all of this for over five years. The only problem is that he has not been able to make a proffit.

This is where I come in. There is nothing more I would love to do then to help my parents take what they love to do and make a proffit. I have committed myself to do what ever it takes to take advatage of the great opportunities of internet marketing.

After studying the Warrior Forum, these are my thoughts on a plan of action :

Start a client funnel system collecting names & emails.

1. Take existing stories and combine them into like stories to create ebooks. Offer e-books for free via radio shows, multiple stand alone websites and social network groups.
2. Submit stories as articles to e-zine sites with free e-book link at the bottom.
3. Advertisement swap w/ other like sites.

Options to go to market

1. My father already has two separate Audio C.D.s of Stories. We can create new C.D.’s
2. Take existing stories and combine them into like stories to create e-books. Create an audio of the e-book.
3. Subsciptions to the Newspaper

This is just a rough draft plan that I have come up with. I am looking for input and ideas from anyone with experience. I don’t have a lot of money, but I do have the time and resources at my disposal to really make a difference in my Dad’s business. In the end, I don’t really mind if my parents’ lived with my family from now until they’re gone, but I would hate for them to experience the pain of failure after a lifetime of an emense amount of hard work and dedication.

I think your ideas are great and you're on the right path. Good luck with it! I also wanted to say that I think it's sweet that you're helping out your dad. Both of my parents are gone (my dad 20 years and my mom 2 years) and I wish they were still around.
