Brandy Names vs Specific Names

Hi,

Should I name my digital product and site in a more brandy style (short, but not clear on what the product is) or specific style (longer and more precise on what the product is).

Both names sound pretty good.

So which one should I choose?

Thanks

    The age old question.

Ask General Electric and you will get one answer and ask Hagen Daz and you will get another.

It depends on your marketing plan a little and just doing something to move forward a LOT.

If you have the time and money, split test. However my guess would be that both choices will perform in direct relationship to the action you take.

That leaves it up to how do you "feel" about your final choice. Make a choice and take action.

Ask your friends for help too.
I mean, google and yahoo were words not found in the dictionary once, and now these 2 companies are doing very well. Both company names are easy to remember and kinda catchy.
Ultimately it's up to you which direction you want to move towards really.
