Can you see the images on my website warriors?

Hello All,
I have a strange problem here. I am setting up my new website and the 37 jpeg ecover images are not loading offline. I open the index.html file and all images like the order button load ok. But my 37 ecovers will not load and the html code is ok. Have no idea why they won't load. So I went ahead and uploaded the website and tried it and it seemed to work. But I'm not sure if I reloaded cached images or not.

I need someone to go to my website and see if it loads OK please.

It is audiointerviewproducts [dot] com

Basically I need to know if you see the 37 ecovers. It is an image of an ebook with audio CD's. Are these images loading where you are? I would appreciate a few people trying and letting me know. I still can't get them to load offline no matter what I try. It could be because I converted the originals which where .bmp with infranview and something went wrong.

So let me know if the new jpeg ecovers are loading Ok on your end.

Thanks,
Mike

Yep. I can see all of them.

Could be your cache. Clear temp files, delete cookies and close the browser. Try using other browser like Opera or Firefox etc and check.

Yeah they load just fine in netscape (mac) ...

I would clean everything out including your temp files (if you run windows) and restart.

Mike, they load but very slowly. The images haven't been optimized, they're all over 300k. By the way, I'm not able to open the JPEGs in Photoshop, I get this error message:

...an unknown or invalid JPEG marker type is found.

Thanks Paul, I didn't realize they were still that big. The originals were bmp an they were large so I batch converted them to jpeg with free image editor infranview. I have the feeling something is wrong with the new jpegs ecspecially since you got that error.

I'll try to figure out how to reduce the size of the jpegs. If you or anyone has tips how to do that for free please let me know.

They're not really JPEGs. That may be part of the problem. What they are is BMPs with a .jpg extension instead of .bmp.

I had the same error opening it up in Photoshop. But, if I changed the extension to .bmp, Photoshop opened it without any issue.

Once you get your image editor to save them as actual JPEGs, maybe then the file size will be reduced.

          Thanks again everyone,
I redid the batch conversion on the ecover jpegs and changed some settings and now the images are much smaller and now they do load offline for me, they wouldn't before. If anyone can tell me what you think now as far as the speed of the page loading that would be helpful.

          again it's:

          audiointerviewproducts [dot] com

          Thanks,
          Mike

Thanks everyone above. I was just playing with these files and tried deleting temp internet files and temp files and the images still don't load offline. All my other offline sites work ok. Just not the 37 new jpegs. It's a little weird. I thought I would figure it out but no clue.

Thanks for checking though. Good to know it works online and that's all that counts.
