Aweber URL Invalid when I create my custome Thank You page

Hi Guys if anyone can help me out here with aweber. I want to create a custom thank you page, but it keeps saying the url is invalid. I have tested the url when I paste it into my firefox browser and it works perfectly. In aweber it keeps on saying your url is invalid. I am using a sub domain for the hosting and don't know if that might be the problem.

Please let me know if anyone can help.

The best thing to do is to contact Aweber support. They have great customer service. I'm not sure why that would not be your first move. I don't think anyone would be able to help you with that here.

Personally, I've used sub-domains and that has never been an issue. Sometimes if you're internet is a little slow it can take too long for Aweber to identify that the URL is valid. I've had that happen before when I had a connectivity issue with my wireless router.

Other than that I really don't know...

It does not allow me to publish the custom page but goes to the default audio thank you page.

Maybe they have a problem with the spaces in your URL, rather than the .html extension.

I have solved the problem thanks. The spaces were the problem so now I know in the future. So in the end it was worth asking in the forum. Thank you guys.

Is the "thank you" page located at http://www.affiliate-secrets.net (the domain in your sig file)?

There is a DNS error with that domain, so no page on that server will resolve.

Check if you are adding double http:// in the url field I use to do that all the time.

I have realized that you can even make mistakes when you copy and paste especially when there is a space in front of the http:// which your eyes don't pick up easily. I was boggled when the URL worked and when I made some changes to copy and paste again it does not work anymore. Then I realized I copied it wrongly with a space in front of the http://. So this has been a hard and frustrating lesson and I actually feel like a total fool. I guess I won't be making this mistake again.
