Content/email follow-ups

Hello!

I have my sales funnel ready. Intending to do affiliate marketing through investment traffic.
My biggest worry is I freak out when it comes to writing good emails.

How did you guys go about it? Should I buy email swipes in my niche and do some tweaking for the time being as I learn to write copy?
#content or email #followups

look for people who are selling in your niche. Those that are successful. I know that is subjective but with a few searches I am sure you can find the leaders in your niche. Sign up to their lists.

You will now see what they are promoting and how, All will have different styles, different frequencies, different ideas about subject and content etc.

I'm not saying copy then directly but use their ideas that are probably working better than any you have atm.

emulate and learn until you find your own style or at least one that works for you.

If the prospect were sitting right in front of you, what would you tell her? Speak into your phone and record what you would say.

That's your follow up email with a few edits. It is only as hard as you want it to be.

    Regards,
    Sumit.

What Tony Marriott said is very true, you can emulate what is already working in your niche. You also can use sites like magazines.com to figure out the best topics in your niche and there is also a formula for writing emails that you must learn:
    1) The headline of your email is the most important because this is what makes a person click through to read your email.
    2) The email must tell a story that the reader can relate to.
    3) The email must present benefits and intrigue to the reader
4)The email must have visual appeal
    5) MUST know the difference between content and story emails and how to intertwine them with your pitch.
6)How to use the different types of emails (content vs story) to keep your list's attention.

There are many things to learn and it will take some time, but you need to find the right place to learn.

Practice writing 1000 words in a Word doc daily. Trash the doc. This gives you clarity and confidence in your writing, for both your blog and emails. Also, subscribe to a few rocking lists of copy masters; do not copy them but feed off of their energy, feel their vibe and take notes from the greats.

Well you should curtail your emails according to your prospects needs. And if you don't have any data available do a survey or 2 to get a better understanding of your prospects needs.never by swipe copies and blas them off to your audience ,first of all that is spamming and secondly you are assuming what the customer wants without getting green light .

I'd add, ask yourself these questions:

Is my main driver to do affiliate marketing?

Or is my main driver to have fun, to render useful service by solving a specific problem and then, to earn some money over the short and long haul?

Shift your intent, your fears will dissolve, you will practice writing and your emails will be stellar.

Even if you buy swipes, you will often realise that you will still need to tweak those swipes too.

Sign up for people in your niche as mentioned multiple times in this thread, collect those emails, save those which caught your attention and use em' as a model.

Then, rewrite your emails based on it.

When it comes to email marketing, you just need to..

    WRITE EM.

Is it good? You will never know till you send them.

Will it get good open rates? You will never know till you send them.

Will the links get clicked? You will also never know till you send them.

The best thing to do is to send those emails. You will have your own set of data to analyze and you will be able to see what emails received more opens, what emails received more clicks etc.

    Send your emails daily.

It does not need to be perfect.

It does not need to be the best.

It does not need to be that good.

As long as it is not spam.

good questoin but we test 3 funnels at the same time, with same landing page.

1 of the funnels always does better than the other 2 as time goes along.

Test and track, and if you do it right, you can make huge incomes.

You will need to find a way to connect with your subscribers. Sure, you can subscribe to someone
else's list, but what works for them may not work with you. I'm a big fan of stories. My first stint at
an online business was a free biz opp a few years ago called Six Figure Income.

The thing that impressed me the most was my sponsor. She contacted her downline only once
a week, and her emails consisted of traffic generation techniques she's tried and what her results
were. She also shared that she was making around $800 a month and that she was trying to reach
$1200 a month. This was encouraging results for a free business.

I actually looked forward to her emails because she made them personal. Most of the email lists
I've subscribed too seem a bit generic and they come in all sizes. Some are short and some are
long. To connect with your readers, talk about yourself, your family, your job, or your cat.
If you can build a relationship with your subscribers, it will go a long way.

My personal opinion, sign up to a few people you trust and see how they are writing thier emails.

I wouldn't swipe emails only because the customers might have already seen those emails you want to build that relationship with your customers, i personally feel telling a story would work better but that's just me. Above all focus on building that relationship and actually help your customers

The best follow up emails are the ones where you share your expertise in your niche.

You help solve problems that you feel your target market may be experiencing.

I think one of the main reasons so many people struggle with creating value based email follow up s...

Too many people are picking niches that they don't have enough interest, experience and passion regarding their choice.

Never pick a niche because you think it's profitable.

Your most profitable niche will be the one that naturally 'resonates' will you.

Not saying that you aren't already knowledgeable in your niche OP.

    Hopefully you are.
