Keywords - the semantics of it all

Hello boys and ghouls.

We know that placing keywords on different sites, linking back to your website is a great SEO method. What about the sites that don't allow anchor links for your keywords? Would typing in "my keyword # 1, my keyword #2, mysite.com" without any anchor text, rather just keywords next to your domain backlink be anywhere near as efficient? I suppose not, but would it be efficient at all, or should I just leave a domain backlink and forget about keywords if the sites don't allow any type of anchors?

It wouldn't make enough difference to be worth bother with, especially when there's plenty of places to get good links from.

Im not an expert on keywords or seo but I would think that would add the keywords to the site that your leaving the comment on. You would get a backlink, but the keywords would not go with your site. If Im correct. But, Im not sure how google works....so this is just my opinion

This brings up the importance of including your main keyword in your domain name when you register it. If you are stuck with only a straight URL link (no keyword anchor text allowed), you're still getting some SEO benefit from the keyword appearing in your URL.
