I was thinking, suppose I sell a site on Sitepoint or somewhere else. What do I include in the sale? Let's assume that the listing is just for the site: Domain name and all content on the site. Would it be unethical to change links pointing to the site from article directories? Should I include the list, if the site offers a free report? Adgroups and keyword research? What is your opinion? |

If I built a list with the site and built backlinks, they would go with the site. If you throw in your keyword research as well, it's another asset. All these increase the value of the site. Without them, it will be worth quite a bit less ... in fact, it would be little more than a startup.
