I don't think there is a standard. I once paid $100 for a three page pdf report. I have given away 300 page ebooks. I have received free ebooks of 300 pages that I didn't think were worth the money.

Any standard easy to read font is fine. Just don't use script or comic sans or anything else weird.

Times, Ariel, Tahoma or Georgia are all fine.

All the options are based on the type of the ebook.

If you want to lure your reader to your site, few exerpts from your article that increase interest are enough.

If you want to sell an ebook on certain topic, then detailed ebook would be better.

Adding images increases the readers understanding and keep the subject interesting.

Font can be anything standard like Arial, Verdana, Time new roman etc.

Great advice.
This ebook would be a story or multiple stories focused towards a group of enthusiasts. Is there a certain font size and line spacing?

You can use open office to create your ebook the easy way and it's free. It has a create pdf button and the links always work.
