Can Any Warrior Help Me With An Amazon Purchase, Please?

Hello,
So I saw thread on here talking about dragon naturally speaking, and how it helps you write articles etc...

having used it before, I decided I would try it out again, and see if it was any more effective... only there is one problem:

I cant seem to be able to purchase it!

Someone in that thread found out that it's on amazon for about 50 USD, or 60 something CAD... and when I proceed to the checkout... it asks for a credit card.. (I have none)... and there is no option for paypal.

Then it asks you to list a chequing account, which is all fine and dandy too, but it asks for my driver's licence... I don't have that either!

It's frustrating these days, because it really seems that you cannot do anything without a credit card... and it's really a controlled monetary system this way... but that's off topic

But anyways, then I found out you can also use a gift card, as a form of payment... only i dont have an amazon gift card either...

And as mentioned, you can't use paypal on there to buy things, so I cant even buy myself a gift card to buy this damn program...

So now I am wondering if anyone has a gift card for there, that I could buy off you (through paypal) (an online gift card please...), so that I can get DNS?

Please if anyone has any suggestions here, or advice on how to do this?

thanks...

I was surprised - thought Amazon took paypal.

Go to ebay and get it - prices are good and they do take paypal.

Ok, I have bought it with ebay, but my only concern was it if was badly used etc... and that I end up with a bad product- whereas I shouldn't have that issue if I just get it new from amazon, but thankyou... will see how this works out.

I've bought a number of electronics products on eBay (well, DNS is software, but same idea) and all were brand new. I bought my Flip, AT-55 microphones, etc. Look for an eBayer who is listing a number of the same product and has a store. These are usually real companies, not some guy clearing out his junk box. You get great deals.

      Log into your PayPal Account.

Click on the "Products & Services" tab.

In the bottom section look for PayPal Plugin.

You should be able to use that plugin to set up a virtual debit card from your PayPal account.

It is late for that, as I have already made a purchase through ebay, as KAY suggested- only this user doesn't accept returns... so if it's really wrecked etc..... then I just got canned

But I also need it NOW... and I hope it doesn't take more than a week to get here... or a month? imagine that

that's why I have always avoided ebay, but this is my first time using it, and hopefully this user can prove me wrong, and everything will be ok.

Used items are only part of ebay - the DNS I saw there are new, of course.

Just as on a forum, it's a good idea to check the reputation of the seller on ebay. I can understand why they would not accept refunds on DNS because it is software and because it's usefulness depends on the buyer learning to use it correctly.

I bought it and then the guy says he doesn't sell it to new people... then he said it's too much of a hassle to give a refund... so he is sending it out, and it can take up to two weeks...

I was really hoping for it asap... but I hope that it's worth it, and works well for me in the end.

    Thanks for your advice, Kay.
