Hi, I would like to know does the Amazon UK affiliate program convert well? Can you get better conversions? What type of CTR do you normally get for conversion?

Any other related inputs will be very helpful...

Thanks
Richi

If I was you I would focus on the USA version as you will have far more traffic. UK is tiny compared to USA

It is all going to depend on your traffic. If your traffic is bad, your conversions are going to suffer.

I do see your point but it's a no brainer to be selling on the USA amazon rather than the UK version. The sheer size compared to the UK amazon.

Amazon US only pays via check to people who live outside the US. So from a convenience point of view, the UK affiliate program is more attractive because it has a direct deposit option.

As for an option such as Payoneer, they take so many fees, it's not worth it, especially considering Amazon's commission rates have been reduced to 4% in many categories.

I get the feeling that even when checks eventually get phased out, Amazon will only pay in Amazon US gift cards to non US residents.

Why limit yourself to one platform? If you are using WordPress there are lots of plugins that will geo-redirect your traffic to the right website.

so if you have a person come to your website from the UK they will be sent to Amazon.co.uk and if the person is from the US they will be redirected to Amazon.com.

As others have said all depends on the traffic source and intent. I used to send thousands of people from Twitter but hardly any converted. Organic laser targeted SEO on the other hand..
