Default No Job, Debt- Need advice

Hello,
I'm pretty new to this forum but not new to the online world. Fairly new to the affiliate marketing seen but know some stuff (about websites, seo etc). Unfortunately I have no job (and it'll be very very tough to get one in the current economic climate in the UK). I need money for myself and for my family.

I really want to take my online projects to a new level so I can actually earn money. I have websites that I'm currently working on but need advice from the warriors .

Can you please advise me on what basic stuff to read and learn that is absolutely quint essential in internet marketing (in terms of affiliates ). Basic ebooks that would have saved you a ton of trouble. Big mistakes you made that you learnt a lot from. Any articles or sites I SHOULD be a part of. And in general any advice you want to give me.

This has been a very tough year for me personally and I'm trying to turn it around. So please help me. Thanks in advance.

Best way for immediate cash is to pick up the phone and offer your services to businesses. People out there are still buying, you just have to loose the recession mentality.

Don't rely on IM coming good if you have a family to support as there is no guarantee how quickly you will start to earn money.

Thanks for a quick reply. I have a family but its my immediate family . I am one of the sons as opposed to being one of the parents. But this still doesn't change my situation. I am planning to run a local business to supplement this. I have some free time now (maybe for a month) to do something exclusively online as I am currently not at my home.

Mikey,

I've got plenty of good ways to make quick cash - all of which are services, but they can net you a few grand in a week's time. You just need to put some effort into it.

David Preston posted this a long while back. It's what got me started off in the road to marketing for small businesses - which is all I do now.

http://www.warriorforum.com/blogs/da...-its-free.html

I really recommend you read that post thoroughly. It's gold.

If you can offer that basic service to small businesses, you can make a small fortune. My first client (found via Craig's List using that letter) paid me $2,500 to get started and still pays me $100 a week to write a single informative email for his list.

Total, he's been worth over $4,000 for me this year.

If you're looking into this route, which I suggest you do, I'd also check out Andrew Cavanagh's "Offline Gold" series. They're fantastic.

Offline Gold

Taking online ideas and selling them to offline business is huge right now, especially with how cheap advertising is online. Businesses need new advertising methods because the old ones are expensive, clunky, and can't be tracked. If you can explain that the internet is none of those things, you have made the sale.

Good luck!

First, find one area and focus on it. If its affiliate marketing GREAT. If you chase many things that will make you more money, you will actaully make less then focus on 1.

Second, create a plan of action and then work away at it.

Third, track what works and duplicate it.

Forth, celebrate your success.

That thread is really amazing. Thanks. However as I haven't ever used opt-ins on any of my sites yet. It's something that'll I'll have to learn about and research before I can use that idea (and I will definitely look into it). What are the other services you said that could earn me some money working hard each week?

If you already know how to design even simple websites pm me because I am in am in a similar situation to yours.

Having said that there are tons of people coming online daily and even to this forum asking how to make money. It's good that you are not afraid to ask for help. But cash will not magically flow to you that quickly.

You expressed an interest in affiliate marketing. There is money in that. You must apply some advanced marketing tactics in order to acquire money quickly. If you are a beginner it's not likely that you will immediately get professional results in any field of business. There is always a learning curve with any new skill.

If you can perform some services or already have some type of skill right now then there is fast money available in performing your services for others for a small fee. This can be accomplished in a matter of hours. If you want to sell affiliate products then you must immediately begin learning and practicing your newly learned skill. You can also sell products on Ebay or Craigslist for some fast cash. There is another learning curve involved with those methods as well.

Bottom line is if you want cash quickly then asess your current resources. If you want a new business then begin educating yourself and start practicing how to become a professional marketer. With consistent focused effort you will see some positive results.

Hi,

All of the methods in making money online involves writing, so I recommend that you focus on writing, whatever area of internet marketing you choose to venture into will require that you write something.

There's been a lot of newbies here in the forum that said they earned about $500 to $1000+ in a month due to extensive writing which is about 2 to 5 articles per day. So if you can focus on writing about some tips why not do the same.

Here's a blueprint that comes off the top of my head.

1. Go to clickbank and look for a product to promote.
2. You mentioned you know something about SEO so look for keywords you think you can rank in. Use it on the articles you write.
3. Write about 5 articles per day and include a strong call to action at the bottom.
example call to action:

Doing "this or that" is a hard thing, especially if you have no idea on how to properly start it. However there is an easier way, visit "YOUR CLICKBANK PRODUCT" and you will learn the proper methods to do it in half the time and succeed in doing it 100% of the time.

4. If you don't have any money for domain and hosting, create landing pages using weebly, squidoo, or hubpages. Include more information there and then put in your affiliate code where it is easily seen or clicked.

5. Rinse and Repeat

There are several things missing in this blueprint, like building a list, promotion strategies, etc, etc. However, this things can be added later after you made your first few bucks.

To Your Success!

Omar

Hello Mike,

There's a GREAT product put out by Willie Crawford called "20 Ways to Make $100 a Day".

20 Ways To Make $100 a Day Part-Time On The Internet (NO Aff. link)

Several fellow Warriors contributed to create this product. I guarantee there's something you can use to get started making money online.

I do agree that starting an IM service is the quickest way to make some bucks. Here's a simple plan to start out as an Article Writer as outlined below...
  • Write 5 - 10 article on ANY one topic (this will be your portfolio)
  • Get a web hosting account and post this as an article pack for sale (sell for maybe $10)
  • Offer to write one FREE article to 5 - 10 trustworthy Warriors so they can sample your writing. You can also offer them your article pack you're selling for free as a sample too.
  • If you're a decent writer (and I believe you are based on your posting right here) you should have no problem getting $6 plus dollars per article.
This will get you some immediate cash. This takes work though but you do have one precious commodity and that's TIME.

This business is not easy and requires effort. More importantly you must EXECUTE on whatever plan you do have.

Good luck!
Dennis

There's some good advice here for you in this thread.

However, if you need to make some instant cash, get a job.

When you say there little chance of getting a job in the UK at the moment, that is just a wrong mental approach to have.

There are still jobs around. Just fewer.

Definitely start making some money online, but get yourself a job as well. Even a part time one.

An extra few hundred pounds a week can make all the difference. You can also then afford to buy some of the tools and basic training and books that will really help speed up your progress.

Even cutting the grass, painting wall or being a labourer for a few days each week can give you the wherewithal to get moving quicker and also take the pressure off.

Don't be a sheep and believe all the glum news. My small business just took on two new staff in the last three weeks.

I remember last year when I first started my Internet marketing business, I had only one pay-check left from the job I resigned from and I needed to make some fast cash to give me some kind of cash flow. I was told a quick and easy method by a fellow internet marketer and it goes as so:

Find a cheap ebook database site where you can download a certain amount of information products with private label rights per month. (the best are one's that let you filter the results such and the licence rights)

Download quallity information products with no-restriction PLR rights that allow you to alter the product as you see fit (I found video tutorial products particularly lucrative as there is always a high demand for video tutorials that show people how to set to start a business or set up a blog blog for example)

Alter and adapt the product as well as the sales page and list it on the clickbank marketplace for affiliates to sell for you.

I have found this a fast way to make an automated income. It takes a bit of work to begin with but once you have altered and enhaced the product and added some decent bonus itmes to the sales page you can then sell the product for a higher value.

There are several ways to do it, if you go through clickbank you will need to outlay a little money to begin with for:

-domain name
-new graphics for your product and sales page
-ebook download membership site
-one time clickbank fee

You can also use ebay to sell your video tutorial product or you can mix both the above for several automated income streams.

I would suggest starting with eBay as they already have targted traffic and you will need to do a little work generating traffic for your domain product but you can also use clickbank affiliates who already have lists and traffic waiting for you.

I started using eBay, then moved on to but a domain name and list on clickbank and paydotcom.

This system can be duplicated over and overt and it gets easier the more you do it. You can soon have several different automated income streams bringing you in cash all year around.

Be warned it is always quite important to have some money put aside for internet tools you might need to enhance your business or money making idea. You can always sell itesm around the house on eBay that you no longer need. Just a thought!

If you would like more information, please feel free to click on my signature link where I sell my a Build Your eBiz business package or feel free to visit my blog where I talk more about this money making idea.

Best of luck with all your online endevours!
Steve Wilkins

A 7.00 an hour job is better than no job at all and then on your free time you can build the internet marketing business. I am not tryin got be a smart --- just being honest. I understand that many people have lost jobs that used to be payed lots of money.

My father retired from a company he worked at since he was 18, he retired not because he wanted to but because the company closed. He made upwards to 60+ an hour. He still has to pay bills and his spending habits are probably curtailed but because of the nature of his business and the contracts he was involved in he cannot work in the same industry or anything related.

So how much does he make now? Somewhere between 8 and 11 dollars and hour. He does have a small pension but not old enough for social security benefits.

I am sure he doesn't like the fact he makes WAY less, but he also realizes that work is work, you gotta work, and even if the money is not what you want you still have gotta work. So many people say there is no work, but really many times its that their standards are way to high, not that thats wrong but you gotta be honest in the predicament your in. Would you rather have 50 a day or 0 dollars a day?
