Driving traffic to Squeeze Pages in 2017?

Hi WF,

With all the solo ad providers available, is it wise to put your squeeze page in front of people who probably get several emails a day from many other lists? Most people who are on these lists are most likely on other make money online list and get emailed several times per day. Are there more cost effective ways to drive traffic to a squeeze page? I am looking to build a relationship with my visitors and provide value before and after they opt in for free. With solo ads I find you cannot do that without paying much to do so and still you are most likely competing with many other lists they may be on. Just looking for some solid feedback on this. Thanks WF.

    Hi Sunny,

    Have you tried this forum?

The classified section is an excellent place to get visitors, gain trust and build a relationship and provide value before they optin to your list.

Another option would be using the paid banner advertising they offer here.

Of course there are other networks where you can get clicks to your offers for cheap, try making a search for "CPV advertising network " or something similar.

It might be a trial and error strategy if you haven't tried these networks before, but they do work.

    Regards,
    Robin

      Hi Robin,
No I have not tried the classified forum here but will check it out. I know it will be some trial and error and I have tried some paid solo ads that is why I asked the question. I just want some feedback from folks with more experience in buying solo ads and those who have tried different methods of driving traffic to a squeeze page.
      Thanks for your reply.

I know it's tempting to look for secret strategies and little known methods to drive traffic to your squeeze page . . . but honestly . . . the very best approach I have found is to concentrate of simply developing an offer that is so full of value, so focused on solving a problem or fulfilling a desire that someone in the niche just can't say "no" to grabbing what you have.

When you get good at converting prospects simply on the strength and value of your offer, then the cost of driving traffic is almost never too high!

Too many new marketers believe that you have to spend a lot of money to grow a list and build a following of rabid fans. That may be true if you have to show your ad to thousands before one prospect joins your list. These marketers fail to realize that conversion of those prospects into subscribers (and then buyers) is really the key to profitable online business. Shoot for high conversions based upon "can't say no" offers that align perfectly with the audience's wants (demand) and you will be able to grow your business to any size you want.

    The best to you,

Thanks Steve, I get what your saying. That's why I want to focus on providing value because I feel my offer is highly valuable for those looking to make money online without being hustled by so called gurus releasing the latest push button system. But I also know so many marketers promote these to their list I just don't want my value to get lost in the sea. Thanks for your feedback.

This is how you build an email list for free, the right way to deliver value and turn them into customers.

Send targeted traffic via advertising (doesn't cost you anything, in the end).

Deliver a short series of valuable content.

Ask them for the sale (can be your stuff, or an affiliate offer).

First Sunny, remove the fear of competition aka emails from folks in your niche from your mind. These cross current will muck up your campaign.

Consider blogging, building an email list, forum marketing and social media marketing as a few ideas. I've also been big on Quora recently. Reached 100,000 views on my answers today. You can't post your squeeze page there directly but can answer questions, share value and attract users to click on your bio linked to your squeeze page.

This is a great question, it's certainly hit home for me i'm picking up the myself when it comes to Solo Ads..

..The gentlemen before drove a great point home when it comes to having Quality Material and providing the "without a shadow of a doubt" value that absolutely astonishes that particular market...

...if you are ten percent different or better than the competition in that specific niche, then you have unbelievable results with that market...

...and so he gave a great point in that aspect..

Solo Ads are extremely effective as every time I have used them in the last three years, I have got either a TON of optins, or a ton of optins WITH Sales...

..that really just all comes down the ad copy on the pages of your sales funnel

But if its alternative methods getting traffic that you are looking for, I have ALWAYS been a fan of "automated" systems if its ever going to be Free. How do I mean? Well in other words "set & forget" strategies such as taking the time to set something up say on youtube in conjunction with a blog for attraction marketing purpose...

...something as simple as taking that easy concept and scaling it up/duplicating it beyond your comfort zone with the main point here of going the extra mile and being consistent.

..There are a thousand probably more ways to get traffic online and offline, some of which are just weird and most folks would pass on them on first impress yet produce tremendous results for those who stick them through, ..
The best "secret" tool is reverse engineering the competition in your niche, as in the folks whoa re already consistently selling to your target market..

...why reinvent the wheel, or keep jumping from one traffic strategy to the next without seeing any all the way through.. when you can literally just reverse engineer whats already having success...

..I'm not saying copy them, but seriously, you can model their entire sales funnel, use sites like similar web to identify their traffic sources and intercept.

    Hope this helps!

I do think solo ads get results I just ran some test and got some optins. I was just looking for information from those who have chosen to use other methods and had some success. But thanks for the feedback really appreciate it. I am going to use a few other methods and see how it goes.

  • This has worked for me quite well: I do not rely entirely on my squeeze page when it comes to sign-ups. I get sign-ups and traffic to my main website and to my 3rd-party sites other social media accounts. I focus first on building trust among my readers and then when I have a large following and constant revisits to my site, then I go ahead and promote a product to them. And yes, I have to agree that the conversion depends largely on the quality of the product you are offering PLUS the free add-ons you are willing to make. The more you add value to the product, the better it will sell to your audience.

Yes. I realized relationship marketing in 2017 and beyond is crucial. Marketing online is and will become bigger as more people understand its potential. Providing value and building relationships with your audience via social, email, blogging etc is important. Thanks for the feedback.

      Hi,

Like I mentioned earlier not totally backing away from paid advertising but I do want to focus more on relationship building instead of pure transaction advertising. Looking to build all around value for visitors. For the long term providing value now will make getting sales easier in the future. 80/20 rule. Thanks.

I think solo ads are great, i always use them, is a great way to update your email list and hopefully gets sales from the first email, other free methods like this forum, facebook and youtube etc will bring less leads but will be more targeted, over time this builds up. The key i guess is to not use one source, if your looking to build a relationship then you don't need a massive list as a list of say 1000 people can earn you a very good living, get them on to your list by what ever means possible then you do the rest with your emails and value etc....

I am not trying to build a list of huge amount well not off the bat but I am looking for more targeted people that my offer fits the best this way over time I can offer more value via email and other ways. Thanks for the feedback.
