I've found an italian keyword which is having over 200k+ searches every month

I've found an italian keyword which is having over 200k+ searches everymonth, the top 10 websites which are ranking on that keyword are having no more than 10 referring domains on each ranked page. Now my question is can I out rank them with a fresh site? If yes, then what should I do to outrank them. But here's one issue, when I checked all of those ranked pages root domain they are having hundreds of referring domains but for the page which is ranking they have no more than 10 referring domains.

You have found a good keyword that has huge searches but the competition is low. That's great. You can do well with this keyword because the top 10 sites are not very high authority sites.
So you can rank but you must do better than them. You have to create great content maintaining On Page SEO. Here Domain Authority is an issue. They have some backlink, their sites are older than you so their domain authority is higher than you. So you should create some high authority backlinks for your particular page and you need times to rank. You have to work some days with this post. Share daily again and again and do blog commenting using the post URL.
Then you will rank. You have a good chance to rank higher within a short time because the competition is low.

    Another odd question.

Do you know anything about the keyword and it's niche? Do you speak or write Italian? A member in India asking on an Aussie based forum how to rank for a specific keyword in Italy. Not sure if it's a sign of progress or alphabet soup with no vowels....

Just curious as nothing was mentioned about what the site focus/content/etc will be - only how to maneuver it. Be interesting to know if it works out...

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

Make sure this keyword actually has buying intent, volume doesn't always mean $$$

By that I mean the owners of the forum (as of Spring 2014) are in Australia - just as the previous owner was in the U.S.

Therefore - the 'base' of the business is in Aussieville.

i have a blog site in italian, and i can write and read in italian.

Maybe the author of the site u referred has made a link juice with gsa?

I have bought a seo course for italian niche and i ranked BUT italian laws are awful, expecially for sites!

So i switched in english niche.

But it's not so hard to rank in italian market since the site which gives backlinks are not so much and people are new to internet shopping market.
