What do you prefer Affiliate Marketing or CPA?

In this moment I am totally in affiliate marketing but I'm consider thinking again about CPA, because I think it's easier for someone to complete a form than paying with their card. What are your thoughts on this?

  • The commission from the Affiliate marketing is high than CPA, depends up on the skill set and interest, both the marketing are good place to earn money from online.

Conversion rates are typically much higher for a lead generation offers than an offer that requires a purchase.

The key though is to promote offers that pay well (no $2 email / zip submits) and have mass appeal (will be of interest to a large general audience). That way the potential exists to produce high volume and are fairly easy to cross promote.

Some of the verticals (niches) I have done extremely well with are: insurance, education, debt, loans, credit, mortgage, assistance, discount offers, homeowner offers, etc...

This is why it's mainly all I promote and have been for over 16 years.

So many people think you have to sell a product or service to make money online. Which is so far from the truth. In the end, it's much easier to get a user to fill out a short form than it is to get them to take out their credit card and make a purchase.

To me, it's a no-brainer. why struggle with trying to sell this or that, when you can provide free information that users want / need and get paid well doing it.

According to me you should prefer Affiliate Marketing because affiliate marketing brings more as well as unique opportunities for your business that results in more site traffic, more customers and most importantly more leads.

Technically CPA is a form of Affilate Marketing. Not all CPA offers are based on signups. Just sayin'

    Hi Spartan,

    Why not do both?

    Just my two cents...

    Essentially it's the same thing...

You drive traffic to an offer...

That being said - the two can easily be combined and used together.

For example, if you are building a list you can have a link on your download pages with both CPA and Affiliate offers.

Just be sure that whichever you choose that you try to get them on your list first, then you can show them other offers rather those are CPA or Affiliate products.

    Hope this helps. Good luck!

    Cheers,
    Coby

The fact is, there are so many affiliates and so many CPA networks out there, with so many products and so many offers to pick through, that it's impossible to recommend any one system, network or product above all others. Even the best high-converting offer earns you nothing if your site is terrible and you can't sell. Conversely, you can make a ton of money out of bland, low-payout offers with a great site and a low-competition niche.

Here's the thing; you can do both. In fact, you very likely should do both. If you design your site properly, and you integrate your ads into your content with appropriate disclosure, you can do very well.

It is Actually PPA from the affiliate prospective and it PAY PER ACTION. could be lead or sale which is all affiliate marketing. So you are talking about focusing on PPL offers instead of PPS offers.

I prefer to avoid the word "or".

If you follow horse racing, you'll know that some horses do well in short races, while others do better at longer distances. Some do better on a regular dirt track, while other prefer turf. Some do better on muddy tracks.

Bottom line, match the horse to the conditions.

Worry about your traffic's preferences first

Base your whole business on that

Build the community first, worry about monetization later
