Weighting offers in a sales funnel

by Kurt 4 replies
Let's say you have a sales funnel such as:

$7-12 FE
$27-$37 backend

You also have 3-4 additional products/reports that are relevant to each.

To increase value and sales, would you add them to the FE, the backend or split them between the two?

I know, someone will say "test"...but I'm looking for general gut feelings.

It depends of quality of the funnel how attracts clients and how much confidence it gives and the value of products

I'd try an order bump on the FE payment page.

It is pretty easy to bundle them as a low cost add-on right there and then and not everyone will necessarily take the back end product but a simple add on has been working for me.

I've been doing it with digital products where I offer a physical version and also where I make a related offer like "Add the transcribed notes" for just another X.

I've pasted an image of the checkout page below showing the bump in the lower right hand side.

    Best regards,

    Ozi

Hey Ozi...I tend to agree with you. You have to make the FE sale before anyone will even see the backend offer.

I'd put them on the FE... Because some people who will not like the FE might like the other products, so you end up with a few extra sales. (Unless you add too many and then they cannot decide and they don't buy anything.)

Some I might put on the BE too... if they truly compliment what they've already bought.
