$5,000 Per Month Ideas- Thinking Outside of the Box

Inspired by a thread of ways to make money by thinking out of the box what are everyone's ideas (or experience) of thinking outside of the box.

Many people get so caught up with affiliate marketing, adsense, etc.. That does make money and some make a good living with those methods but there's more than one way to make money on or off the net.

$5,000 was just a figure I came up with but it should be large enough to be a life changing amount.

-Selling ad space on your website (need a website with a bit of authority for this to be a win/win) Alex Tew is a good example of this but copycat's were not successful. Selling online ad space to offline businesses might produce better results.

-Selling web services to local business- many great threads about how to do that here

-WSO's- Offer something of great value which has overlooked demand and is hard to reproduce.

-Consulting services- go offline with your know how and sell it. Build a list of clients over time and do online classes.

-Online T-shirt printing press- create t-shirts designs which have the names of local neighborhoods and sell them through Cafepress or similar website. Advertise through Craigslist, word of mouth, etc...

That's all I have for now. It should go without saying but any idea is worthless without action.

BTW, the reason I'm asking is so many people these days are financially unstable despite "doing all the right things" (especially in these times) and while money isn't nothing beats being financially secure.

No one has ever told them that there are more ways to make a living than a 9-5 and they might not know anyone who has done so. It starts with a shift in thinking and thinking big to get big results.*Gets off soapbox*

    Hello,
a friend of mine has just started a new business that he is doing very well with.
He is going into small businesses and fixing the traffic flow of where customers walk
and optimizing the square footage to sell more items.
He charges $50.00 per hour and I told him that sounds like
    a low price.
Just another idea to share on this great forum.

    Something new soon.
