How Most Warriors Can Solve Their Internet Marketing Problems

by ryanbiddulph 19 replies
Most folks who struggle with growing a sustainable online business tend to try to use "manipulation" to grow a prospering business.

This usually means: "I tried to do this with this system and added hashtags or increased my keyword count and bought followers and then used software that was banned and threw thousands of dollars at the problem by hiring folks or buying more expensive systems and still, I am failing. Help!"

See how it works? 1 person, by themselves, attempting to manipulate circumstances, on their own, to get what they want.

You will fail almost every time with this approach because as Google, and Internet Marketing, has evolved, these lower-energy, fear-based, manipulative tactics just don't work anymore. And even if they appear to work for a select group of skilled folks the money earned and success experienced almost always feels completely hollow.

Here's how to solve your internet marketing problems: convert manipulation into co-creation.

Work with other human beings to co-create something useful for other human beings.

Sure you can use hashtags, and create helpful content through your online real estate and through rented social real estate, but you want to spend most of your energy co-creating with other folks to leave your frustrating struggles behind, and to have fun becoming a successful marketer.

Example; I just responded to a post shared by a rocking Warrior asking how to gain traction on Instagram. Instead of trying to manipulate Instagram solo/lone wolf style, through using hashtags, banned auto tools for buying followers, etc, etc, I suggested to Like relevant updates and to comment on relevant updates. This is co-creating with other human beings, said humans being people whose updates you liked, and commented on, helping them out, which helps you build lasting friendships with these co-creators.

Some of these folks will Like and comment on your updates. Friendships form. Followings form. Slowly, steadily, patiently, you will exit the realm of manipulation and enter into the realm of co-creation, where the happy, fun-loving, successful marketers play, and where they rock it out.

Algorithms may change. But if you are a loyal, supportive, nurturing friend to a bunch of folks, through your generous service, your business will grow and grow and grow, independent of search or social changes. Friends will join your list or bookmark your blog, visiting daily or weekly, and your co-creating, helpful, high energies will keep reaping rewards for you and all those whose lives you touch in a loving, generous way.

I have seen this happen with my blog; my friend based keeps growing, and becoming more loyal or dare I say....rabid, LOL. More lasting, sustainable, fun-feeling success because I am always bringing more rocking folks on board, through co-creating.

Every co-creation involves you helping another human being, to co-create value for either one of your followings. In the beginning though you will be co-creating on other folk's profiles to make friends, to build your friend network and to develop that detached energy that precedes super successful ventures.

Some Examples of Co-Creation

- guest posting on top blogs in your niche
- opening your blog to guest posting
- writing 2-4 paragraph, authentic top blogs in your niche
- opening your blog to comments
- entering into joint ventures where both parties are aligned, providing useful, relevant service for both parties involved
- Liking and commenting on and RTing other folks social media updates, generously

The list is endless guys. Any venture where you reach out to another human being and promote them, endorse them, or comment on a social media update (in a helpful, friendly, valuable way) plants the seeds for a prospering friendship, and also slowly but steadily dissolves your struggles, permanently. Because when you have friends who buy into YOU based on your generosity, as long as you keep helping them generously, they ain't going nowhere.

Meaning these friends continue to promote you and endorse you, boosting your traffic, list subscribers and online income, while those folks who ignored co-creation and chose manipulation sweat out every single Google or Facebook update that sends a new, fresh batch of burned Lone Wolf/Solo manipulators into a big-time panic, and sometimes, the poor house.

Stop trying to use or manipulate things to get what you want.

Begin co-creating with human beings to add value to the world, to solve problems in your niche and to actually enjoy this ride.

Guys, I get asked quite a bit how I was featured on Fox News, Virgin, Forbes and Entrepreneur among other world famous sites. I am not special, nor super talented. I am kind of a dingbat, honestly. But employing this simple concept of co-creation, patiently and persistently, for months and years is the core of me appearing to be everywhere, which led to me being featured on those sites but more than that, which helped dissolve my marketing and blogging struggles. You'll see many established Warriors with similar experiences, with prominent features, rocking profits and traffic numbers, all that good stuff, all through the persistent habit of co-creation.

How are you co-creating? How can you reach out to more folks today, 1 to 1, to help them, to build friendships, and to leave the "solo-act" manipulative ways of the past behind, for good?

Thanks Ryan for this advice! I really needed to hear it.

Nobody can create an empire on his own whether that's on the internet or in the outside world. I've been slowly coming to that realization for the past few days. I'm still understanding, but you've helped me to solidify that idea in my mind. Thank you

Excellent article. Giving value to others and networking with them is the key to success. We need to remember there is a real human being behind the computer screen. And the more we reach out to others, the more value we can give them. I like the term co-creation. I've always thought of things like this as networking but co-creation has a friendlier sound to it.

    meh. Who cares?
    Its too slow.
    Its not instant gratification.
Costs too much time or money

That kind of thinking just interferes with the day dream that is far far more important.

About 90% of the people here are all about the dream of putting up a website (or in some cases not even a website) putting some content or sales pitch on it and Kaching!

They have no particular interest in taking a long approach. They want the no cost , no time and can be learned by reading blogs or asking questions on forums - or better yet totally fulfilled in three fiverr gigs - "strategy".

Does your OP make great sense? Of course however it denies the dream and the real sizzle in IM is the dream as stated above. Mess with the dream and you mess with their reality of wanting the dream.

Say it to yourself about ten times over and over again.

"its about the dream not real success"

and you'll finally realize why you will get some "amens" and "great post" but the approach won't change in the long term and why you will be drowned out every time by WSOs and posts promising things either overnight, no work or no expense.

As Vader would say "It is useless to resist"

Really all about whatever you tune into Mike If you are quoting Vader, I know you are coming from the Dark Side LOL.

The folks above choose to see the positive in such an approach. The folks who don't choose to see the negative, or more accurately, close themselves off from co-creating, toward manipulating.

No right or wrong way to do it. Just what you choose to see, how you choose to feel and the reality you choose to experience, based on your decisions.

The thing to ask yourself: why am I tuning into fear, lack, and limitation? If you sit with that question, honestly, you can see.....why I sense great fear in you. As Vader also said
