Hello everyone. I am just getting started in IM. I am trying to immerse myself in this and learn as much as I can to both get started, and become successful. Seeing as how I am just starting, does anyone have any good advice on reading material to "learn the ropes" such as the verbage of everything. ex: ppc, cpc, affiliate marketing etc. and what it all means, and how to apply it. I'm just trying to understand everything, and how everything works before I begin making my own pathway in this new area of study for me. Thanks for any help.

Warrior forum is the way to go. Go get a wso every week. Then you'll find a method and get a wso related to that particular subject. Focus is the key as IM is tremendously big.

Hi JT welcome to the WF.

What I recommend you do is use the "search" feature in this forum for whatever you want to learn, you'll find some excellent threads giving away great info for free. If you have questions just ask (in the appropriate sections) and if you really want to accelerate your learning, join the War Room.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks,

    Hey JTread,

JTread, I've found that just reading through this forum is a great education in itself.

Whenever you come across a term you don't understand, Google it, and you'll find plenty of free resources that will explain the concept.

Avoid buying this, that and the next thing. If you dig a little, you'll find almost everything you need for free.

Thank y'all for taking the time to reply to this thread. I plan on reading all through these forums to figure and find stuff out. I'm going to have to find some "newbie" sections though. to learn some of this stuff. Such as a wso.. which i am about to look up to even see what it is..

      Hi

Welcome to the manic world of internet marketing. My words of advice are this:-

Do not buy a WSO (Warrior Special Offer) every week, you will be poor in no time and suffer what most of us have been through and that is information overload.

Have a good look around this forum and try and find which avenue of IM really 'rocks your boat' as there are so many different ways of making money. When you think you have found what you want to pursue focus on it and try not to be distracted. Consistency in this game is where its at.

I would join the war room on this forum as many really good marketers are giving access to some fantastic information.

      Good Luck

Once a week is very conservative. There are many, many warriors who consistantly buy wso's all the way from newbies to expereinced marketers who are already making a killing online.

Some of the best tactics and business building tools you could every get your hands on have come right from the wso section.

I would not completely disagree, however to buy WSOs ad hoc when you are just starting out is a quick way to get confused.

In fact what would be very interesting is how many of our fellow warriors buy a WSO with the best of intent only for it to languish on the hard drive. I have bought many, but am big enough to admit I did not put them all to use. Now that I am much more focused on where my business is going, I only buy what I need.

Once you have a clearer idea, then buying WSOs that help and support your way forward are an excellent way to stay ahead of the curve.

How did everyone get started? I really don't know where to start other than reading the forums and trying to understand the terms and stuff like that. It seems like there are tons of options depending on which way to go.. There is a lot of information to sift through. Any help? Such as different options.. Like should I do ppc, affiliate, etc.. Which in reality, i know not much about any of it. Is there some place I can go to read and study up on all of this?

Unfortunately you'll just have to put in some time into your research whether here on the Warrior forum or buying products to educate yourself.
