can you sell ebook on ebay?

Is it possible to sell ebook on ebay? if not. Where else can I sell it?

It is allowed, but ebooks are a dime a dozen on ebay...

eBay no longer allows "digital only" products.

So does this mean you can't sell an ebook on eBay? No. You have to be creative. You can sell the ebook with its instant digital download as a special bonus, but you'll need to send the ebook to your client as a physical product as well (either on a CD or send the printed transcript).

eBay is sometimes a good strategy to use for selling a lower-priced ebook, with upsells to a bigger product.

Have you taken a look at the types of ebooks that are available on eBay? You will NOT be in good company. Most of them are for sale for $1 or so, and most of them are NOT original content.

Most of them are the types of ebooks you get when you buy a big package of ebooks.

I once bought a package of 6,000 ebooks for $5 just to see about their quality. They were terrible!

So do you really want your product to be associated with those types of products? Probably not.

There are tons of ways to sell your own ebooks without reducing its value to $1 and selling alongside poorly written ebooks that are the same ebooks everyone else bought in their $5 package of 6,000 ebooks.

Set it up on your own web site, on Booklocker.com, on other epublishers' sites.

Use the same marketing tactics that we discuss here on the WF as far as driving traffic to your site, building your opt-in list, etc.

Last I know they banned digital items. So to sell ebooks on ebay you have to burn them to cd and ship them to customers.

Ive never seen them sell in recent times and saw them being sold for 0.01 pence which is abit silly really.

You will definitely have better results if you write a good, quality product (rather than buying those huge packages of crappy ebooks that end up being the same ones everyone else is peddling) and then using methods you learn here on the WF to market your ebook.

Yes, you can sell them in the Classifieds. I had mine on there a few months back and got some sales.

Heard about the recent Ebay changes on digital products. I personally think it's weird to see Ebay changes their terms of serivce so abruptly.

If anybody still doing good selling ebooks on Ebay(making good money or builing a large e-mail list), either through regular auction or the classified ads format, I would love to hear their story.

You can sell ebooks in digital format through classified ads.

However you don't get feedbacks for sale through classified ads.

So, you can convert it to cd and sell through 'auction' or 'buy now' format.
