Default Launch Soon: Which Price Should I Go For S&H?

Hi guys,

I launch my product in a couple of days.
This is physical product. The package is standard dvd case.
I ship via standard mail.

I want to test something along the line : 67$ (+10$ Shipping)
Is it too much to charge 10$ for S&H?

Thanks one more time.

$10 seems very high for mailing a DVD by standard mail. I would charge around half that. You could also give them a shipping option. Say $5-7 for stand mail shipping, $10 for Priority mail. By promoting the speed factor, I would assume most of your customers would choose Priority Mail.

I think that it can often be better to put the price up, say to $77 and give free shipping. Free shipping can be a powerful incentive but of course it would be best to test both options and see which comes out best.

I would with Jacer, remember that sometimes price it's what scares our custumers away....

Wow. I wasn't receiving email notification for this thread. I should check the auto-subscribe check box!

Indeed, 10$ seems a little bit too high. I will cut it down to 6-7$ I think.
I can't give the choice right now because I'm in a hurry for the launch and my priority is to complete the content .

I will have to test of course. But I think people unconsciously doesn't add the s&h price to the total purchase if this is an acceptable price.

Is there a reason you are shipping a DVD as opposed to just letting people download it? If they downloaded it, then you would not have to worry about S & H.
The DVD will be shipped worldwide for a flat fee. I don't have time to set shipping price in relation to the country. I do business with Kunaki for shipping my stuff and they charge a flat 4$ worldwide.

The product is kinda big. 3 Gigs. All videos. I could compress all that and find the sweet spot to be able to sell it online... but for now, It will be a physical product.
