How create subscribe/unsubscribe Link or button in Gmail?

Hello warrior guys,

I created some marketing email templates in Gmail, and ready to start sending them out to my list, I would like to insert some links or buttons that offering the email users whether to subscribe or unsubscribe from any further mailings,
this is to avoid annoying anyone one that not interested to receive more emails,
Kindly advise how to do this? thanks in advance.

You can use email marketing services like Mailchimp, Sendpulse etc to send emails to your list where they have a link below your email to unsubscribe option.

There is an unsubscribe already included in gmail - it's in a drop down menu....
the small arrow that shows right after the name of the sender. Also the images above the page allow a user to 'trash' or 'filter' emails. Of course, users are just as likely to click the "spam" button which is not good.

Google provides instructions for creating a 'contact group' or 'distribution list' which would be the gmail form of 'list'. Several steps involved so you need to look that up on gmail site.

I would not use gmail to build a long term list - I'd want a professional autoresponder for that.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

I did not mean that list of options,
I meant a link or button that I can insert into the email body - footer section,
as usually when we receive emails at the footer section we see subscribe or unsubscribe from list:
this is what I meant, not talking about the built-in list of options,

As far as I am aware normal gmail emails that can not be done as it is not an autoresponder , maybe explain more on what you trying to achieve that may give an idea for a solution!

I don't think there is such a function in Gmail.

Each unsubscribe link needs to identify the specific email address foreach user that the message was sent to and when clicked, unsubscribe the user or at the very least write the email to a file, which is then used to unsubscribe the users. Nothing inside of gmail exists to make it possible to do.

There are some chrome plugins that add this capability and some self-hosted mail programs that exist that you could send the mail using the gmail smtp and will let you create the link and manage the unsubscribes.
