I achieved....unknown success!

Hey guys,

Around the end of December/first of January, I started the 30 Day Challenge, as done by Ed Dale. I started really reading/learning about IM, and, knowing that there was money to be made, and, that I was going to be successful at it.

I started a blog based on Star Trek toys. I hoped to capitalize on the upcoming movie, and, just to make my first few dollars on it. While blogging about different toys and things were a bit tedious, it really grew my knowledge on how the whole blogging/marketing thing worked.

Anyway, in the midst of all of it, my mom got sick, and went into the hospital. During her stay, she was diagnosed with terminal cancer, with a 1-2 year life expectancy. I have to admit, that took the wind out of my sails, pretty quick. I tried to get going again, but, nothing happened.

Anyway, I had gotten to the point in the 30DC where you set up an Amazon account. I had been getting monthly emails regarding my earnings, but, figured that I had made nothing. After all, I had written no more than 5 blogs. I had gotten pretty high up in my particular niche, but, still figured out that I had not done anything.

Well, yesterday, I got another one of these emails. Just for kicks, I logged in, to find out, that I had made money this year! Woohoo! I had made $4.41 this year.

Now, I know that's nothing at all. But, for me, it's something. It was fabulous! I have MADE MONEY ONLINE!

Now, with various ventures I am into, I have very little time for IM, but, I may be able to find just about 15-30 minutes a day to donate to IM. I wonder (if anyone wants to answer this question) what I can do for 15-30 minutes a day?

On a side note, we are believing God for a complete, total healing for my mom. Cancer is defeated! She is doing well, and, we are belieing that cancer will die, and she will have several more years. I am personally praying for 30 more for her and my dad.

I like your attitude, you shall go far in life buddy!

You can possibly create a site (affiliate marketing/review based site), slowly work on it and then spend your time writing articles.

Jeremy - thanks for sharing your story. I'm sorry about your Mom and I'll be hoping that the situation improves!

As far as IM it's true that a simple 15-30 minutes per day can add up to something huge! I started a blog at the beginning of January and worked on it for 30 minutes a day through Feb. That site has made me about $1500 and growing and I haven't touched it since. I really should be working on it though - I just have so many other projects I'm working on.

I'd say take your time each day to add in a blog post and then build some backlinks or promotional articles to add to directories.

I've only been at this a month myself, but the revenue is starting to "trickle in". I believe you CAN increase your income over time by an hour a day; it's just like any venture, the more quality and quantity time you can put in, the better.

Yeah. I was going at it "full force" before my mom's diagnosis, and was learning a LOT. in fact, my birthday promise to myself was to earn money before my birthday this year, on Jan 16th. I proofread a high school student's paper, and, helped him write it, for $25. I was pumped!

Like I said, it just popped the wind out of my sails.

But, we are going ahead. My mom is doing great! We got her into a GREAT hospital, the Cancer Treatment Centers of America. They are GREAT!

Jeremy, first sorry to hear about your mom and glad to hear victory is yours!!!!

About spending 15 to 20 mins a day. First change the attitude (I love your attitude on everything else, but this). It is not a donation, it is a investment. Donation you do without expecting anything back. Investment is to make a return.

Second, spend the

Day 1 - Keyword research

Day 2 - Googling your term and findout where people hangout. Make a list of all the sites

Day 3 - Make a plan of all places you can post about your subject. Some include Yahoo Answers, Social Media, Video, Articles, Bookmarking and so on.

Day 4 and on - Starting following the plan by doing something to market each day, track track track.

I really like the idea of your blog, I think you've done a great job picking a unique niche. I think all you have to do is get more traffic to your blog, and that coud be done just by submitting articles about Star Trek toys to article directories. You should be able to make money in no time.

Congrats for your first sale and keep up the good work.Just continue with what you're doing now but make sure that you're doing it right without wasting a lot of time or money.

You've a NEW goal in your life,WHICH is to give the best treatment for your mom's sickness and I'm sure that you need a lot of money. Take this as a challenge and strive hard to earn more money in Internet Marketing. Once you're striking rich online,you can give the BEST treatment available for your MOM!!

Jeremy, stay positive buddy and things will always work in your favor

Now, about that 15-30 min a day. I am willing to bet you can add an additional 1-2 hours a day. Want to know how? Sleep less No seriously, we all sleep to much (well most of us do) It's been argued time and time again, do you really need 8+ hours of sleep?

I recently started a completely new schedule that has me waking up at 6am every morning and hitting the sack at about midnight. Want to know something? I don't feel tired in the mornings anymore and I added an extra 2 hours to my work day.

Think about this... If you were to add just one hour more to your working day, that equals an additional 9 full 40 hour weeks at the end of the year. Crazy eh?

Thankfully, she has good insurance. However, that being said, cancer is exepnsive. I'd like to bless her to be able to live without any need of having to work. She really wants to market her jewelry to sell. But, she does love her job.

Excellent, Jeremy! I'm in the midst of the challenge myself. Haven't made anything yet, but it's nice to know there are people making money at it, which only spurs me on further!

On a side note, for the good wishes, and especially the prayers to Almighty God, who DOES heal, we got ANOTHER good report today. One of the major indicators of cancer she has continues to drop, so, we are SO excited! Yay!
