Some "good" posts and threads there - from 2008 on....as good a place to start as any.

find a product to sell.

• use an email auto responder to send series of newsletters promoting the paid product.
• set up a traffic campaign to get visitors to your website who want to buy that product

At the basic level, it really is that simple. That's why online marketing appeals so much to the 'Get Rich Quick' seeker. The problem is that 'simple' does not necessarily mean 'easy'. Where it gets more complicated is in making sure each of those steps are done effectively.

This is where the 'Get Rich Quick' seekers jump off the bandwagon and start yelling SCAM. As I said above, 'simple' isn't the same thing as 'easy'. While the 'Get Rich Quick' books do over hype how easy it is to get results, it's still a fact that this is a proven system.

If you really want to learn how to make money online, you need to ignore the hype. There is no way that anyone can guarantee that you can make XX amount of money in XX amount of time. There are too many variables that have to be taken into consideration. Everything from how good you are at niche research all the way through how good you are at understanding the material and following instructions.

Your expectations will determine how long you'll follow through with the plan. If you expect to make $10,000 in two weeks, and after 3 weeks you still haven't made a sale then you'll probably give up and call it a scam, (That's usually caused by sales-pages making unrealistic promises). Even more importantly is how well you understand what needs to be done for each step. Even if it is possible to make $10,000 in two weeks, it isn't likely to happen unless you do everything exactly right

Well from experts like dan brocks you will get very useful advices tricks etc but you still also must work you cannot expect to get rich .These people that succes they work hard learn a lot until they succed etc

If you aren't going to buy anything from these marketers - what's the point in discussing them? "I heard they are all the same...." Many are similar - because the best methods don't change that much. It's like anything on the internet - you have to consider the source and decide for yourself.

It's too much like gossip to me to discuss a particular member's start up or earnings. I'm sure Dan has contact info online - so you could ask questions directly.

This is exactly the kind of thread that should never see the light of day at the WF!

How many times (daily?) do we see people coming to this forum because of the quick and easy money that is supposed to be available to anyone, anywhere, based on the "claims" of someone else who has gone from rags to riches online?

And then we wonder why online marketing has such a sketchy reputation. We wonder why so many newbies fail and call Internet business a big scam. We wonder why niche competition is so great everywhere we turn and why buyers are so skeptical about making purchases in the MMO marketplace.

The WF could be so much more than it is.

First of all, learn how to work here, than try to be an IDOL. You referred one affiliate marketer, he did not famous over the night. he prepare himself for year to year. So learn more & more. If you do not know work, you will not be able to earn even a single amount of money. Thanks for understanding.

Every time I see a thread like this I say a prayer because people who think like this are doomed before they even start.

Be his competitor not his follower or buyer or student,take massive action like he did as follows:
1> be a good storyteller,people like to buy stories...describe everything as easy and simple...
2>setup a yt channel like him
3>set up a good website like he did with a lot of optin form and high quality lead magnets...
4>offer a better product or service than him for free...
5>Are u young and handsome?if yes,you can play a role yourself like him;if not hire some handsome guy or pretty girl to play a role
6>if he produces a yt video a week,you produce 2 or 3 yt videos a week
7>entices to get a lot of subscribers
9>keeping offering high quality yt videos and promoting,promoting...
a lie repeat itself 1000 times would become truth...
10>keep repeating the above procedure and never give up...

There's a lot of skills you have to develop and perfect before you make your first dollar online.

Once you know how to make your first couple of sales as an affiliate marketer, you will eventually want to develope your skills in product creation to increase your profit margins of the online sales you make.

It's best to do your research and due diligence before posting a question like this on this forum. You will get butchered by the senior warrior members, because it sounds like a "how to make a million dollars online? " thread

It doesn't sound like you really believe that you ever could make money like him.

But if I am wrong...why not ask the man himself?

First of all way to go for making this step,
(even asking questions like that people usually avoid of asking them
because they don't want to look stupid.)

So first thing first, if see in this guy as a good mentor
go and take another step and take him as a mentor.

Now the questions you need to ask yourself is:
Which niche I want to go?
What kind of products do I want to sale?
Who is my client?
How can I help my clients?
How can I get more info in this niche to become
an expert that I can help others?

All those are critical questions.

you gotta figure it out and go with it.

And I won't lie to you it will take time
but.....

if you are really serious about this
start on taking little steps and grew from their.

One thing to remember when a lot of the so called gurus started it was a lot easier to make money back in 2006 -2013 than it is now !

It was all new and people were jumping at the bit to get next shinny object , At one stage you would get once a week some little tid bit you could use and because it came from xxxx guru people love it

Even had to big 4 or the cartel as they were known and they would all promote each others product to their lists

You do not see that much anymore because maybe they found a better way so just remember try and find your own way

I know that's the common thinking now but I don't buy it. The basics haven't changed but the 'static' has increased. There are more wannabes now - many of which don't expect to have to work very hard. There is a huge increase in marketers around the world targeting the same few English speaking buyers. Much of the discussion today is not "is this ethical and honest" - but "will I get caught or banned"...probably a natural progression due to the growth in the numbers of wannabe IMers.

Some of the 'gurus' today are marketers I knew 'back when' - many were posting on this forum. They worked HARD - they put in the hours - they invested money and time in their business. Some of them took risks early on that most here wouldn't be willing to take. I don't know of a single one of them who expected to "start for $0" or thought it too much trouble to build their own website(s).
