How to get customers?

I think I build great products
but nobody is buying
and when I do ads, I only lose money.
I have wasted 100 dollars on facebook ads without any results.

You probably think my products suck, but I really think thats not it.
I think I could be giving away free gold, and people would still not be buying.

How do you get started?

Are you doing straight adverts, or are you retargeting?

Here's an example of retargeting... Let's say somebody hits your checkout page but canceled the purchase, you can retarget those people to re-engage them through Facebook ads. You might say something like "hey, you forgot to order this - but here's a special 10% discount which expires in the next 30 minutes".

If you're doing straight adverts to a sales page, hardly anybody is gonna buy from you because they don't know you.

Use the adverts to send people to a high-value content page on your site, pixel them, and then re-target.

Well, you could start by giving a few more details about your situation?

What do you mean by "without any results?"

Does that mean no one is even clicking on your ads? If so, then you could be targeting the wrong audience? Or your ad copy isn't compelling enough to get anyone's attention, or interest? Or, you're competing against 1,000,000 other people selling the same thing, and you're not breaking through the sea of clutter? (just to name a few)

Or, does no results mean people are clicking your ads, but not buying your products once they arrive at your offer? In which case it could still be your sales copy, or your offer, your price? Or it could just be a disconnect between the expectations set forth in your ads, and what people are finding once they land on your sales page?

Or, it could be your expectations are misguided? A lot of people think they have great products (and many do) only to find out the market doesn't even want what they're selling.

Honestly, there's a lot of things that could be off. It's hard to tell by your limited question.

I built a service for people and small business to support them in social media.
    it is called twitkid.

I put ads on facebook, and this did not work.

I am afraid I haven't done enough market research, also I am unknown in the market.
I really don't know how to get started.

When I first started my video marketing business back 2008 for off line business I went to as many local chamber of commerce meetings I could and just networked

The next step was to find a good reception place that I could have breakfast meetings in and would do a deal with the owner like a barter of sorts for tea and coffee and breakfast

And would just walk around local business and let them know it was on and where you do pick up a lot of customers and more referrals

You may need to offer more info, how does your app work, in your landing/homepage. There are lots of similar services out there. Follow them. Can you remember how did you find them last time (it could be their marketing tactic)? Your services are very pricey, you have to offer a much more lower prices at your initial stages. When you become popular, raise the prices a bit. You don't offer trials? that's a huge disadvantage. Give them access your services may be more than a month since you are new to the market. I think its your price and credibility that's creating problems. People can't subscribe you $45.99 per month unless you are super needed and you're some forms of Industry leaders. I suspect, you are gonna find a single customer if you continue to burn more money via paid ads under the same circumstances.

I've looked through the copy on your site, and here are a few suggestions...

You write: "We tweet for you" - that's the first sentence.

Where's the benefit in that? Tell them the explicit end result. You save them time, right?

You take away the hassle of them having to find content... they don't even have to think about Twitter anymore, it's like having their own social media manager for a fraction of the price... it'll seem like their following is growing on autopilot.

And this line: "We tweet inspiring quotes or the newest headlines for you to keep your twitter feed or facebook page up to date."

No mention of a niche here... what if they're in the weight loss niche, or the dating niche? Inspiring quotes and news headlines are very general, and not niche-specific.

Make it clear that the content you're posting is relevant to their audience.

I'm sure others here will fill in the more of the gaps, I've gotta run.

For anyone to help, you would need to share more details around your product and what you have done.

To attract customers you have to have a great personality and show to them why they should buy your products. Great personality mean you have to respect their opinions to your product.
