Ok, I get a massive influx of sign ups when taxes go up on TOBACCO.

Yes, the quit smoking or smoking alternatives niche is HOT.

Had some sign ups today on a campaign I literally snooze through right now. Asked some questions and found up taxes going up again on cigarettes locally.

Looking for a starving crowd? There you have it.

Go take action.

    Thanks, Avenuegirl, that's a really interesting correlation. I love tracking trends like that in any market.

    I wonder if perhaps another small surge would happen when anti-tobacco TV ad campaigns are on the rise . . .

    Don't like to put a damper on this but I've been doing this niche for a while and found them to be largely the free info crowd.

    Are you getting more than the "free info" crowd? Would love to know

      Sorry for the delay. Just had someone pick me up and take me home from the bar. LOL, wish it was as exciting as it sounded typing it. Friend I'm staying with and I got him a pizza...


      No free info. I give out a coupon - did give out an ebook/report I wrote, but found it not necessary. Just cut to the chase. I promote a smoking alternative product so they are looking to buy in general.

      I've done some video on the product so they see me - good or bad for conversions? Dunno. It will pop again come new years - I saw it with my own eyes last year. I pushed a new campaign and the sign-ups hit hard for a few days. Other one to look out for or start preparing for is weight loss before new years - it hits heavy at the beginning of the year, no pun intended.

    Thanks for sharing avenuegirl another similar more obvious niche was the bio fuel products which exploded when the Gas went up and kept going up.

      Hmm, will have to look into HOW to promote that.

      Some niches are not so obvious on how to monetize on them. I have another one I've been sitting on - scouring for affiliate programs, actually more than one. Takes some creativity to figure some of them out. I think that can be a deterrent for a lot of people, but I just see them as challenges.

    Wow, very interesting to know that quit smoking is a great niche to get into. Didn't really know that people were really that desperate to quit smoking. I'm actually a smoker myself, never really had a big urge to suddenly quit.

      yes quit smoking is incredible. There's some great paying trial offers in select CPA networks too that pay out $30+ for shipping/handling conversions.
