Can anyone decipher this traffic pattern I am seeing?
Hey guys, I've been trying to wrap my head around a certain traffic pattern I've been seeing on my amazon associates dashboard. The click rate spikes every friday. Since my site is very small and doesn't currently attract many viewers my base click through rate is roughly one or two a day but then spikes on Fridays to roughly 20 clicks?
Interestingly this does not seem to correspond with a spike in traffic to the website.
The result is a very distinct looking pattern on my amazon associates dashboard.
Something roughly along the lines of ......l......l......l......l......l..
Is this the result of bots crawling the site? Are people more willing to shop on Fridays? The site is geared towards the sale of portable generators so I don't feel it is necessarily a weekend specific niche.
My hope is that if I can isolate the cause of the increased click through rates on Fridays I can try to replicate them throughout the week.
Also this is my first affiliate site and so far I'm not having much luck- as you can probably infer from the stats I've listed lol Any advice or encouraging worlds would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
