Default Syncing 2 computers... best synch program?

I have 2 computers - 1 running XP, and 1 running Windows 7. (I'd like to be completely on Windows 7, but there are a few programs that just don't run on it... yet)

Currently I have a KVM setup which allows me to switch between the 2 computers virtually instantly, and I have an external drive which I use to transfer programs/files between them by switching out the cord.

None of that is a problem - but I do have a question about my sync program. I'm using Allway Sync and I'm just not sure I trust it.

Anybody else using a synch program??? If so, what are you using, and how do you like it??? (I need something dirt-simple!)
